Can't people see! the welsh aren't racist at all, try your best to speak welsh and you are welcomed with open arms, I had a black (part welsh/trinidad tobago) friend who spoke welsh and I think its time I relearnt my mother tongue
I think there's a noble cause in here somewhere but it can too easily polarise views and actually do more harm rather than good if a group of people who represent that cause take to doing things that anger and alienate the people they are trying to attract. I think the use of the word 'no colonisation' is likely to be picked up by extremists on both sides and read as basically 'English out', when I think Cymuned are actually wanting something more moderate: full integration of Welsh in Wales.
this is digraceful and blatant racism and these bullys pick on the easy targets dont they ,do you see them standing outside mosques in Cardiff and Swansea complaining about the rise and encroachment of islam NO,really brave ,blocking a road in the middle of nowhere or picking on single individuals(english) COWARDS
What nonsense. Who's picking on anyone here? Watch the video - motorists were greeted politely, told that a protest was taking place, and told how to get round it on an easy nearby detour.
Now, would you like to explain how wanting a future for Welsh-speaking communities is 'blatant racism'? Or are you just a rather frantic troll?
Wanting a future for welsh-speaking communities is a noble cause but the methods Cymuned use aren't far off terrorism. Cymuned do nothing but give themselves a bad name.
I live in an area where Cymuned opperate and I've never felt the fear of terrorism. Having also lived in London... need I say more? Cymuned have never been involved in any action which resulted in the physical harm of another human being, never bommed, commited arson, torture or taken anyone hostage. Cymuned plan and undertake stunts which attract the press and therefore advertise their policies, views and beliefs. I wouldn't throw the term terrorism about so freely in this current climate.
Probably because they make up about 1% of the English population as opposed to the 25% of the Welsh population who are English immigrants. Oh, and they all speak fluent English and they're hardly vastly inflating local house prices in England. How can you not at least empathise with this colonisation and destruction of an ancient culture and language?
Self-evidently there must be a lot of welsh people profiting from these alleged super-inflated prices. If welsh people were being physically forced out of their own homes I'd be there with my banners too but they are not.
George was born to a Christian family during the late third century. His father was probably Armenian from Cappadocia and served as an officer of the Roman army. His mother was Jewish from Lydda, Iudaea. So even the English patron saint was a foreigner ! LOL St. George is the patron saint of Aragon, Catalonia, England, Ethiopia, Georgia, Greece, Palestine, Portugal, and Russia, as well as the cities of Amersfoort, Beirut, Cáceres, Ferrara, Freiburg, Genoa, Ljubljana, and Moscow

It's great to Cymuned memebers working all across Wales so that we can have the freedom to speak out own language in our own country!
