That was pretty helpful. I'm facing a similar kind of, yet complicated problem.
The Cap, Clip and Rubber Bushing has come off. I'm using a Dell Studio 1558. Tried lots of ways but haven't been able to figure out a way to clip it back in.
On the brighter side though, even without the key in its place, it still works! Would be really grateful if you could show me how to place the key back in its place.
