Hi, you're going to need an internet connection to get a journey result initially. After you have the result, the journey will be saved.

I'm not sure what your question is. I can tell you that the developers of MyRail did not have anything to do with the National Rail Enquiries for iPhone application.

Hi fq94, thanks for your question. I can confirm that the application works for all the Birmingham National Rail stations. Both on the live departure boards and the real time journey planner. Unfortunately Birmingham Snow Hill doesn't give platform numbers, however, Birmingham New Street does.
