  • if pull yourself up like him for this exercise for example your using momentum, that is bad because your muscles arent being used fully :)

  • @MegaGayCunt he has extra weight added, and hes using explosive force to bring himself up = thats gonna produce growth....i think he knows what hes doing sir.

  • @MegaGayCunt What fucking momentum? The man is HANGING? :S

  • @MegaGayCunt ur a gay cunt.

  • is this guy natural?

  • For me it's great. I do

in first mini-cycle in back training : chinups

in two mini-cycle in back training : pulldowns

in three mini-cycle in back trainig : rack chins

  • just do lat pulldowns...

  • @paintballerx123 these blow pulldowns away, and when you've maxed out the machine it's kinda pointless. Give em a try there is a much better isolation on the lats

  • ive heard this is a great exercise, but can someone tell me exactly why its good and how its different from a pull up?

  • @justingrover It focuses more on the lats and less on the core, since you dont have to worry about your legs, also I find this much better for mind/muscle connection. At the end of the set I like to hold it at the bottom for a nice stretch

  • @PardonMySanity LOL sorry excuse for someone who can't do proper pull ups!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Hittaenkontakt You think Jason Wojo can't do a proper pullup? You're a fucking idiot. These are harder then pullups.

  • great exersize and youll be able to get more reps in

  • I have got to try these.

  • i almost always do this just because i have a hard time doing the regular push-chin.

  • Great, I'll try these in my next workout routine. I've heard a lot positive things about this exercise. It is supposed to add more size and thickness to your back, instead of pull ups/chins where you can use momentum and swing.

  • I want to try these

  • For someone looking to build strength to do actual pullups/chin-ups, will this help to build my strength. Also, could this be a reasonable alternative when a program say's to do pull ups and/or chins?

    Thanks

  • Yes they are fantastic for pullups IMO. Just make sure you keep your chest up high when you do them otherwise the load will be too much on your biceps.

  • Do you think a big guy like him would be doing them if they were as good/better than chinups?

  • Nice gym as well!

  • nice mr ruckus

  • Jason, do you feel those work lats as well as hanging chins? That was super cool.

  • Personally I feel rack chins are one of the best lat exercises out there. I have a hard time just using my back on regular chins.

  • Watching you do them again, I think you are right. The angle forces more lower lat to work, instead of more rhomboid. I think it is more of a complete movement for back. I'm gonna try those today.
