This is very good amv in terms of the song matching the amv. that's really cool and editing is not bad. But i think when characters move their lips and there's silence, it looks very strange. And what's up with framerate?Sometimes it lags.

There is nothing wrong with the way he sings, it's very dark, but that's the way it's supposed to be. Just as Zero is very dark, just as Lelouch is very dark, this song is sung to stress the darkness. Favorite AMV so far.

There is a certain mood that listening to his singing creates and it can't be beat, I'll give you that, but I'm not going to say that L. Cohen is a great vocalist. Same with Bob Dylan. However, when they sing their own songs, it generates certain feelings in the listeners, which makes up for the lack of technical excellence that might otherwise be found in other, superior singers. A technically superior cover may sound better, but may not be as emotionally effective. There is a distinction.

And i've gotta hand it to you, your choice of Code Geass with Leonard Cohen's was a very good match. The political talk in First We Take Manhattan definitley fits to the theme in Code Geass. Many things about this vid. I don't think I would like the song otherwise, but it goes really well with the anime and these clips. Actually I thought that the unenthusiastic tone of the singers voice somehow added to the effect. Great choice, kinda long And slo feeling but very good! Also lots of lol moments in this video XD Rini you sure have lots of awesome vids

It's less about that and more about the fact that the original arrangement is terrible. Plus Cohen isn't a great vocalist, his songs almost always sound better covered by someone else.
