when you start the mission you are invincible for a short period of time. Thats why hes a different color and sort of blinking

Although people have mentioned the rocket on the bridge I believe u had the invincibility cheat on if u look at 0.04-0.06 1 of the small rockets that was released hit u. U should of died from that so in my eyes your bluffing

He didn't die there even when the rocket hit him is true but it's not a cheat. Usually at the start of a mission when the character has the little white flicker around the character that means he is temporarily invincible since all starts of each level has this which is why he survived the rocket hitting him.

And this is an honest thing the developers put in so when the character has that little flicker of white light around the character that is usually at the start of a mission means he is temporarily invincible but only for a short time in which is was able to get it at least through the missle while the flicker is still on before it turned off for it only lasts a few secs after all and that is how much it took. :)

u get momentary invincibility at the start of each mission or each mission section which lasts for only a couple seconds. You can see it as he blinks.

Nope, medium difficulty (4/8). Rambo dude just happened to stay put for some reason, and powerful knifing made short work of him. He usually doesn't do that...this particular time he did.

Hey kudos to you man that was awesome. Don't listen to all the doubters, i don't think it was cheating. Must say that Metal Slug X has given me quite a bit more trouble than Metal Slug 2 did (got the PSP anthology)

Wow. Lots of doubters here. I give you my word this game was played with absolutely no cheats, as the arcades intended. Here's the deal with the large rockets that appear at that part: Only the tip of the rockets hurt you. Think it a glitch if you will, They probably made the body of the rocket harmless because they gave you the option of standing on top of them too.

It's not cheating wenjie, KAWAKS emulator gives you the option of making the layer that shows those menus invisible. On my early uploads (levels 1 to 5) I included the menus but disabled it for more recent uploads, because I felt they were not needed and just got in the way.
