  • this song is under copyright

  • Goosebumps.....Beautiful, Michael!

  • This is an amazing rendition! I am in love with a tenor's voice :) I'm a mezzo-soprano myself. Good job! :)

  • Wonderful voice, this is the first time I have heard you and do hope we will hear

more of you in the future. Super crescendo and sung with feeling. Let me

know too when you have a CD out!

  • Thank you for sharing this. You have a great voice. Please start making recordings if you haven't yet. I, sure, will make a collection of your CDs. I listen to this repeatedly as I love religious hymns. You are flawless!

  • Beautiful voice, MIchael. Are you on Facebook? Wish I could hear you sing in person.

  • Outstanding! Bravo!

  • Beautiful performance, I will surely buy a CD when it becomes available. Too bad they didn't have the church organ with the pipes going for that magnificent voice! Very nice voice Mike, and I hope you keep up the good work.

  • A M A Z I N G ! ! !

  • well done!

  • your version is my favorite, what a glorious voice, i listen to this repeatedly.

  • Ghee i really admire your singing voice. When you start recording and have your CDs available I sure will make a collection of them. Thanks for sharing this.

  • Be nice if the piano wasn't so out of tune.......for a grand piano and a recital hall like this that is really BAD!!!

  • Beautiful voice. God bless you.

  • Nice.

  • beautiful tone, intention, and presence. Better than many I've heard.

  • If this is a recital performed in a church than I feel that out of reverence as it is a prayer, there should be no clapping until the end of the concert. I have been listening to Mario Lanza's interpretation of The Lord's Prayer and it is dramatic and very reverent.

  • YaY !!

  • Beautiful performance! I'm so annoyed by everyone being hypercritical on youtube. To be cliche - you're missing the forest for the trees. Do you really think the artist here was looking for a music lesson from you?

  • This was good, but there are a few personal style preferences that would have made it better. For example, more voice and a little more time on that high note would be phenomenal. Also, slow the end down a little, savor those last few bars. Overall great performance.

  • Saying one should not clap following a musical performance of the Lord's Prayer for the reason that it focuses the attention on the singer's talent, thus distracting from the focus and purpose of the prayer, is greatly misleading.

The singer may have an incredible talent, a beautiful voice; where do you think that came from? Certainly not from him/her but from God. Praising the singer's talent is really a way a praising the Lord, for the creation and lending of such a wonderful musical gift.

  • Amen

  • My college choir sings an arrangement of this.. you did VERY well.. our choir director sang this at a friends wedding and i believe you did as well if not better than she did... :) and i would have apploaded you even had you sung this at a church.. i think god would want you to be praised for your TALENT of singing becuase he gave you that talent! thank you for uploading this!

  • you're so good!!! don't listen to people who don't know how to listen to beautiful voices given by God. :D

  • I'm a Catholic in Atlanta, Ga and we clap at Mass for all kinds of things. I'll admit, it's a first for me, but nice. cf

  • This is absolutely beautiful.

  • The audience SHOULD NEVER CLAP after hearing The Lord's Prayer sung.

  • It was a performance, not a mass.

  • I'm just wondering why? Is there some kind of etiquette around this?

  • Think about it: When you clap, you are praising the singer; but the Lord's Prayer is all about praising the Lord and his almighty power; the singer totally does not matter here. Watch Denyce Grave's video singing TLP.

  • This was OBVIOUSLY NOT A MASS! And was obviously a recital type setting. Absolutely appropriate to applaud. The whole hand raising thing at the end was a little much though

  • very good!!!!!!

Jesus christ be with you. amen

  • If only I could hear him. I hate these videos which are ruined when the piano player tries to drown the singer out.

    Too bad !!

  • It is significant to all

  • Bella interpretacion!!!.

  • Good job. Nice interpretation... and good looking... can't ask for more!

  • Lovely, beautiful voice...but odd pronounciation of the vowels (the 'en' of heaven for eg) - more classical style dropped jaw vowels would make this rendition AWESOME! *hugs*

  • he said which art in heaven. didnt he mean who art

  • That is the King James wording. Just depends on what version of the Bible is being quoted.

  • I really love this rendition of the Lord's Prayer. Michael sings it as if he means it, which means a lot to me. I hope you do a CD soon. Tom. Montreal.

  • Nicely sung and done sensitively, but get that piano TUNNED!!!!

  • great voice...great song

  • Excellent! Michael is truly gifted. Peter Aldrich sings a wonderful bass version of this.

  • Where can I find CD's by this lovely voice? please advise if anyone has information.

    Patti

  • Hi Patti, I don't have any cds yet, but it is something that I will eventually get around to doing. I'll let you know when I make a recording.

    Take care,

    Mike

  • Very nice rendition...what do you think of my rendition

  • good job!

  • I love it!

  • Very nice, thank you

  • Very nicely done! I have to sing this at a funeral. JOHN

  • Absolutely the best version ever.

  • you have a prestine voice. i like it a lot.

  • This is lovely, Mike. Thanks for telling me about it.

  • Nice job. I'm singing this at a wedding this weekend.

  • who is the arranger of this version... i keep finding different arrangements of this song

but i like this arrangement best

  • Albert Hay Malotte

  • Truely a beautiful Song. I just uploaded my version, let me know what you think.

  • Expressive interpretation of

    Malotte's "Lord's Prayer".

  • Wow!! Great

  • that's extra groovy

  • Just awesome, very beautiful voice and very well sung. Keep it up. Love both of you.

  • πολυ καλος συχαριτιρια ''sakis arabatzis tenore''

  • I sang this song at my brother's funeral. This person did an amazing job and I can only hope I did half as well as he did.

  • Love your voice. nicely done!

  • Vous devez ecouter de Frank Tenaglia, ' The Lord's Prayer.' Il est super.

  • wow.. where do u live? come sing in my area:):) i would love to accompany you! :):)

  • Amazing! Great voice, and the piano part is awesome. I'm currently trying to learn both and it's challenging. :)

  • Bella Bella

  • beatiful..

  • Once you started to move a bit the voice placed beautifully and the song came alive! Fantastic job mate! Good on ya!

  • If i were in the audience i wouldve gone up to him and push on his stomach!! Very nice voice just needs to be a little more grounded and more support from his diaphragm.

  • very good looking and very good voice. Good you moved your hand because you were very stiff.

  • Very nice, Michael! A bit overpowered by the piano, but I bet the live performance was excellent. The pianist did nicely as well.

  • Marvelous

  • Beautiful voice, and you're gorgeous too.

  • wonderful job!! beautiful voice!!
