wow, that was fast, i aced myself, i enver wanted the book to end, it was jsut beautiful. I found it really emotional and so interesting, really different towards the others. I really like how Malorie ended this one, it gives you a sense there is good out of this whole outcome.

i know, poor Rebecca, i was really hopign she woudl live. i didnt think i would be written from his point of view, but looking back at the blurb of the book, i dont know why i was so surprised that it was. Tobey was an excellent character. i hope Malorie Blackman does write another book.

Only after writing it she noticed key similuaties, and what she must have meant in that interview is that she had based it on romeo and juilet subcauntiosly, seeing she's a big fan of shakespear is was routed in her head without her realising. BTW, what did you think of doublecross?

I agree. Jude is my fav character to read. I just love his anger. I'm gonnna miss him, but unfortunately I think he died. I wish he hadn't, but I think Toby will be a cool character too. I think he gets POV chapters in this book.

I had the chance to meet her when i was in year 11. The year 7's were going to meet her and my english teacher was taking them and he asked if i would like to come. i said "Hell Yeah!!!!" (Malorie is my inspiration, the reason i want to be an author) Unfortunately, when my english teacher asked from a higher authority (the daft head teacher) i could not go becuase it was carreers day for year 11:( and none of the careers were interesting...Army, Police, Ambulance driver :S :(:(

if you own film rights you can make a theatre show, example: the play wicked was in the process of being filmed when they decided to change it to a theatre production with the same rights.

The RSC have bought the theatre rights and we recently sold the film rights. Watch this space!"

To me this implies that she sold TWO different "rights", and the RSC only bought the theatre rights (for a stage play).To me this quote means that someone else bought the film rights (for a movie).Thats why i'm confused why there is no movie yet if someone bought the film rights.

When the production rights have gone out of date of whatever they can then start the film because the theatre rights are invalid.

Then if oyu scroll down it says the synopsis of the book and thats where I got the information from.

So basically the book is coming out sometime this november but I think this is the definate last book she's writing in the series.

Whats noughts and crosses about because i watch alot of these videos and don't understand?

Well their v.confusing books but I will try to explain. So far theres been 3 main books,

Noughts and crosses, knife edge, and checkmate. Noughts are white people and Crosses are black people.Crosses rule over the noughts.

The books tell the story of callum [a nought] and sephy [a cross] its a bit like romeo and juliet because they can't be together.

I won't tell you what happens just incase you want to read it because I really would recomend it. Theyre my all tiome favorite books.
