You gain speed and the different rides give you different plusses on other things like spell attack, attack, spell defence, defence, rigor, agility etc. Your job decides which ride is best for you - cats have lotsa spell def+attack so better for mages than for warriors, for example - but you can buy every ride.

This game does have PVP, talk to the Sentinel Angel in your city to go to a PVP arena to verse other factions, the people in this video are hella high level so don't expect to do any of those powers except the AOE, i'm level 40 and well i'm doing pretty well, And the person who said too many latinos... people live in different time zones, i myself see alot of Phillipinos, Latinos and Americans, because all of our time zones cross.

The reason most of these people are hating this game is, because most of them are like 10, and probably don't realize that they're ignoring the hugest difference in this game, that it's free. RO is SUPPOSED to have a monthly fee, but too many people are playing illegal servers, so this game is more... clean, and safe.
