I have a vx1000 also and was wondering how is it in 16:9 but not streched??? I know the jap vx has a 16:9 option is that what your using. Other wise I'm confused hahaha. Thx

@dustymuffler Im not really a fan of the 16:9 option. Some people like that but even on the japanese one it still streches and the japanese one is in PAL instead of NCTS FE, (less quality). Id would just say stick with american.
