  • Thank you for your response. I choose Schmincke for many reasons: finely ground which means they absorb into the paper when applied using my Priming Method.

This paint will not lift (when my Priming Method is used) so you can easily avoid creating mud.

The other thing I love about Schmincke paint is that it is so easily redispersed on your palette. Even a month after I have finished using my palette - I swipe my wet brush over the dried pigment on my palette - and the paint becomes liquid again

  • Thank you for all these very informative shorts.

Very helpful for noobs like myself.

Would love to know how you go about photographing your watercolors for limited prints. But then again, it's probably through a specialist.

    Thank you again.

    Keep it inspired.

  • Yes you guessed correctly - I use a professional photographer. For best results you need a large format camera. I think our photographer has a 32 megapixel as well. It is important to me and my reputation that everything I do is done to the highest standard. It is crucial in reproduction that the photographic equipment and skill of the photographer is the best possible. You will find it will show and be appreciated. Your patrons will enjoy your paintings as you wish them to be seen.

  • Some of those paints I also use in watercolour and oild painting (Horadam and Mussini). Schmincke is very strong in making translucent and semitranslucent paints. Thanks for the video and tips about the blues!

  • THX :)
