Ray - how many yards of the ripstop is this?

I use 3 yards, which is comfortable for me (I'm 5'-10").
You loose some on the two folds in the knot so you may want to add 1/3 yard to that (about a foot more total).
so where can i get some fabric, like the once you showed, that would safely hang about 400#s total weight (me, my dog, and some gear)?
