  • See also my "High Tech Hammock" video on my channel so you can see how to make a better one.

  • WOW! Thanks! Wish i'd seen this befor BUYING a hammock, though i do love the one i bought. But i'll remember this in case mine goes & can't get another. :)

  • Great tutorial Bro! Very easy to follow.. I LOVE the Sheet Bend.. It's one of the most useful knots for the Bush! Thanks for a terrific video

  • Where can I buy Ripstop Nylon fabric locally?

Also, did you sew that webbong into a loop?

  • Excellent! How long is your webbing loop? Looks like 10-12"

  • @hppyfngy

These are 12" Longer ones are easier to tie though.

  • thank you so much for making this Deaf-friendly!!!! And is that 1.7 nylon?

  • @sarahgusowski

I get it from REI: BlueWater 9/16" Climb-Spec Tubular Webbing

  • This is great! I was looking for baby posing hammocks and a mini version of this is going to work great!!! Thank you so much!!

Do you have any suggestions on how to make a 'chair' swing/hammock ?

  • Ray - how many yards of the ripstop is this?

  • @Spikestrip55

I use 3 yards, which is comfortable for me (I'm 5'-10").

You loose some on the two folds in the knot so you may want to add 1/3 yard to that (about a foot more total).

  • so where can i get some fabric, like the once you showed, that would safely hang about 400#s total weight (me, my dog, and some gear)?

thats a great video, thank you so much for posting it!
