  • Muito Bom!!

  • ahem---rock stood the 'test of time' 'cause these kids cant play nothin' else--it died in 1988

  • beautiful music

  • One of my all time favs from one of THE all time greatest rock bands. My apologies for not favoriting this earlier; to be a true Heepster is to be vigilant for sharing their great artistry and thy shalt be more watchful in the future.

  • @DopeMcDoperson hahaha i came cause fenriz to

  • Totally agree Uriah Heep is really one of the best and no other band can be compared to the melodic magic they make.

  • gör någon har eller vet om det finns en film med låten "Circle of Hands" leva med David Byron? :)

  • loved this song!

  • I saw them at rock festival in Wiesen near Vienna in June 2002. Going to see them again in June 2010 at B.B. King Club in Manhattan, New York

    Eight years after

  • Uriah Heep is a symbol of the epoch that has been the most fertile and productive in history of rock-n-roll. I guess they have immortal classical songs that will be sung until the world goes round

  • Uriah Heep was a symbiosis of melodic, sensitive expression, and a heavy way to express it. Compare with Deep Purple, or Status Quo. Jethro Tull?

From the start, Heep was kind of "God given" a mission to do it their own way - take Come Away Melinda... was that Heavy Rock? Or Lucy Blues?

These guys kept their ideal, of making high quality music, melodic, with a fantasy based background. Unfortunately they lost the fight: it happened with Wonderworld.

No more space, I could write more.

  • @heep58 heep rules!

  • They were huge at my school in Dallas in 1975 also. The one time I saw them was around 1973. On about the second song I either Ken or David was electricuted by an poorly grounded microphone putting an end to the show. What a bring down that was for everyone! Luckly he recovered to continue his career ,though I never got another chance to see them. ROCK ON

  • I was at that concert also. It was Gary Thain the bass player electricuted. I think they came back and gave free concert if you had your ticket stub. I think either 38 Special or Elvin Bishop was warm up band.

  • saw them first time may 15 -74 in Helsinki, Finland.

  • You gotta love that kinda F-sharpe vocal

tone of Byron's voice, no rock vocalist can

    sing a ballad better.

  • I saw them two days in a row; first Bergen then Oslo, Norway. This was in 75. Lots of smoke and lights when playing Sweet Freedom and July morning! One of the greatests bands ever!

  • If not the greatest! with a lead singer like

    David Byron!

  • You are absolutely right.

    Happy New Year!

    jto1916

  • Two cheers for Byron for carrying the vocal flag of the band with the best vocals of them all.

  • David Byron was in fact a classical singer. He had lots of singing lessons, and he was ambitious about it. We're not talking about a harsh throated heavy metal guy shouting his life pain, but a delicate artist, giving his guts in the game. Anyone should be able to hear his dedication, and incredible - almost unique - scale.

    I miss him.

  • We all do. His scale was most liklely even wider than Gillan, Mercury or Pharlowe!

  • Wish I had somebody like him when I was playing. In any event, happy new year.

  • Saw them in New Orleans, I love Uriah Heep.

  • These guys rock! Bob Weir eat sh@+ and d!3

  • Uriah Heep was huge in my high school in 1975 in Michigan!

  • Me too! Chelsea -Rochester MI!

  • как я счастлива увидеть мою любимую группу живьем, ведь в 70-е я об этом даже мечтать не могла! Спасибо за видео!

  • this is lip synched to the album version, or someone replaced the live audio with the studio version.

  • Demons and wizards!

  • Uriah Heep is Megical

  • I love this band. Somehow this country boy from Alabama found them in 1972 and bought every album since then!

  • Fantastic song

  • I Like these guys. I think the main reason they didnt make in the states is that their music is slightly lagging behind what was happening in the US during the 70's.We do have a disposible kind of culture here. I've never liked that much but things do change here really fast. Not to mention the hundreds of really decent US bands the popped up during the seventies. I think this sealed their fate. They have a good clean sound though and I think they deserve a lot of recognition.

  • Too advanced for poppy american tastes of bands like Kiss/Boston etc...

  • Heep Did make it in the states in 71 and72 they were huge and had a grand following but they also started disintigrating about that time drugs and alcohol took its toll.

  • saw them in Oslo 1972 ... omfg.. very very very good

  • Oh yea, David has one of the best voices in music. I miss him and Gary so much and I love them so. I believe David is singing in the Heavenly choir now, and God was waiting for Gary to add a bass to the musical section of the choir. Hoping to see them both there one day. Uriah Heep is the best band ever!

  • Listening Byron is very exciting!!!!!!!!!!!! He's one of the best singer I've ever heard in my whole life!

  • i LOVE THEM!!!!!!

  • Viva David Byron, pardon!!! Viva Uriah Heep!!!

    Marcello

  • E ai Marcello, tudo bem? O Uriah Heep é uma das minhas bandas prediletas.

  • byron was truly one of the greatest vocalists ever

  • I wish you would have heard it live.

As well as the musicians would have wanted it, I'm sure you would have enjoeyed it.

    God bless!

  • I agreee

  • I get tears in my eyes every time i see this movie :)

    love david byron!

  • what movie?

    does uriah heep have movie?

  • Semplicemente magici....

    Uriah Heep forever

  • I greet all friends of Uriah Heep. I think you have a great taste of music.

Quite another matter is Youtube... I've come across some incredible *bull* no one ever, anywhere, anyplace would believe to exist.

Please, dear friends, look out to get the REAL THING!

GOD bless authenticity, and may HE protect the real makers of real things.

  • I love this song.

  • this is one of the best groups in the world. I've listened to many songs by groups; all the way back to the 50's.

  • David Byron is an magical singer. How short time had been given to him.

  • how about downloading the song pilgrim?

  • fantastyczny utwor

  • Why don't you get back to Russia? Enjoy your music there, while we enjoy ours here!

OK, you piece of a shit of River Volga, what you are?

  • IGNORANTE Uriah Heep is one of the best band in the world.

  • What a fantastic song. I loved this album. Great band, great singer.

  • Genius! Pure genius! Rock that has stood the test of time. Ken Hensley, Lee Kerslake, Gary Thain, Mick Box & David Byron all rock icons! I love Uriah Heep!

  • Fabuloys, man! This was a Heep record / song, already outside their great period. But it's really one of my favorites. In my view, they continued along their melodious way, and Byron with his song... but the world lost them.

In the history of music, I'm quite convinced Uriah Heep did a great part, one of the greatest in contemporary history. Just name me one band with their scale, between 1960 and 2008.

  • @za875 MICHAEL TSARION IS THE WORLDS PREMIER CONSPIRACY RESEARCHER/LECTURER/AUTHOR. DR. BILL DEAGLE, LEO ZAGAMI, JORDAN MAXWELL AND ALEXANDRE DUMAS PERE ARE HIGHLY INFORMATIVE AS WELL. P.S. MELTING EUPHORIA IS SIMILAR TO OZRIC TENTACLES AND GONG.

  • MEGA!!

  • Religion and Science both have no idea about the way to live and think. They both can not see beyond their restrictions they make about life and can not see anything beyond that. The only people who can see everything are the ones that have no restrictions on their minds by the evils ones that try control your thoughts. Break loose and join those that know that this life is more then sugar and spice taught to you and that true warriors of good never accept what is being peached by those in power

  • stayyoungforever

yeah you are right! even the nowadays "rock" is a piece of shit, a robotic shit. those great pigs of music industry have a determinist politic and they treat people like cows. res.
