The first icon, as someone else points out, is one which Christ Himself made for King Abgar of Edessa. The next one is the image He burned into the burial shroud (Google "Fabric of Time", for one - the image is a Quantum Hologram, as determined by the Planck Institute). Christ Himself is called, in the Greek, the Eikon (Image) of God.
