One year ago today Utopia rocked the house! I hope these guys get together again. Thanks so much especially to Moogy. You went out in style playing your ass off.
I like how Todd one day just decided to try his hand at "prog rock" and produced this classic album that is far more listenable today than much of the output of YES, King Crimson, Genesis, ELP, Gentle Giant or the rest of that crowd.
This so fantastic ! Todd Rundgren, Moogy Klingman, Kevin Ellman, Ralph Schuckett, and John Siegler! Great singing! Big wishlist; a better sound! Roots on! frex
heh. brilliant. and thanks to Mike Adrian for putting this up. Great to see Kevin Ellman too- i wonder if he ever thought he'd be playing this monster tune again...
im so glad to have grown up in the 70s with this kind of music....compared to the pre-packaged turds of today, this is like creating the sistine chapel...killer. I have always loved rundgrens guitar tone and playing from the another live disc.
I hate to sound like a prophet but on the 7 rays video that's here on youtube I commented that a reunion of this band would be unbelievable. AND IT IS!
They sound great. A great night for Moogy, the band and the lucky few who were
there. Wish I could have been there. How about a stop in Tampa?
Excellent video Mike! I was up next to Kevin on stage and watching him play alone was a trip. Yours are the 1st videos I've seen with a full stage view. What an experience!
Would be great to see this whole video, if you filmed the entire gig. I'd like to see it raw, without some of the inevitable cuts that will occur when the webcast is released.

I used to be in this cult. Very entertaining. These guys are true musicians. That drummer hasn't missed a beat in 40 years.
