Hey, I have a 91 crewcab Longbed f350 7.3 international, I love the truck but after 3000 rpm and 2 gear it has no top end power. Does the banks kit increase top end performance? I also have next gen heads and full 4" straight pipes.

@30301500 I know I know lol, I'm gonna add a billet grille and I already have a pretty nice grille guard for it, i'm just stripping it down and having it powder coated before I install it, it's a dam good truck, but, I will agree that they aren't the "Best" looking trucks around at ALL, but it's scary looking enough that when I downshift due to some idiot cutting me off, and that big ol' 7.3 starts howling, that person rarely stays in front of me for long with that scary looking front end on it.

Awesome truck, what sort of gas mileage do you get? I'm looking at a few 6.9 and 7.3 IDI's in my area, and I've heard that the newer ones with overdrive can get somewhat respectable mileage. Diesel here is a good bit more expensive than gas though, sadly...

@hombresincero85 I own exactly 3 Trucks with the 7.3 IDI and I own 2 with the Powerstroke. I just love those IDI. The one and only engine I rebuilt was a 7.3 IDI. Really neat to take one apart and put it back together. I had some experience watching over my shoulder helping me. The rebuild kit was about $1500.00 for parts only.

The only thing that's truck missing, keeping it from being a real truck is a crew cab. That damn thing is a diesel, it's a 4x4, it's a Ford. Just missing the second set of doors. I personally am adicted to Ford Crew Cabs. I have 7, count them, seven. Not all running, not all complete. But 7 crew cabs. 1991, 1992, 1993, 1995, 1997, 1997, 2002. The 91 is a duelly 2x6. The 92 is a 4x4. The 93 and 97 are going to be duelly 4x4 being built as we speak. There are some extra crew cabs.

All ford trucks from '87 to '91 have that mark. I think its because in 1987 the national speed limit was 55 mph, and ford didn't change their speedometor until 1992 when the new design was purposed.
