@Xkjgmcr522X Perhaps because she couldn't reach them and hoped they had escaped through their windows. generally the rule is that you teach your kids to escape on their own in just in case something like that happens, but maybe they were already dead. I would hazard a guess that it was probably a toy that was responsible for the fire.

thank god my apartments have loud ass speakers built in so when the fire alarm gets pulled half a block away on the other side of the building, i can hear that shit in my kitchen, it's about 4 times louder than when a garbage truck backs up. fire departments should give out free alarms, and stop sitting on their asses. 99% of them never rescued anyone.
