It's like a fusion of ROCK and OPERA. Wow. I had put this song away for various reasons since 1996, but it's back, here it is....in my life, now. As Celine and Meatloaf say, it's all coming back to me now. What piano! Wow.
UUUGGGGGGHHHH * annoyed * i CANT FIND THE SONG were hes like saying " so i snuck up to my parents bedroom and stood over my dad and just as i raised my gutair my father yelled WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING!!? thats not how u treat a musical intrament and i yelled GOD DAMIT DADDY YOU GOT A HELL OF ALOT TO LEARN ABOUT ROCK AND ROOOLL!!!" >.< if anyone knows what its calED plleeeeeeassee tell me D8!
MEATLOAF HONESTLY IS MY FAV TYPE OF MUSIC I WAS RAISED AROUND MEATLOAF BUT I WAS RAISED MAINLY AROUND THE BAT OUT OF HELL ALBUM (1st) BUT HATS OFF TO THIS VIDEO!!!
@gogira & dragongirl: Opps, My bad- I got the two albums mixed. I listen to both all the time, so I for get sometimes which one I'm actually listening to, LOL!!!
Actually, just as an FYI to the people listening to this- it was from Welcome to the Neighborhood, not Bat Out of Hell II. WttN is one of his best albums!
my dad is was a mega meatloaf fan and every one of his songs is burnt into my subconcious, i have found myself singing along to songs i don't consciously know exist. i also will not compromise on passion, music or lyrics when i listen to new bands and i thank/blame loaf/dad for that. such a massive meatloaf fan for a 19 year old. the dude just has it man.
just to be safe youtube usualy cant touch a video is this is in it

of all the songs i heard of his..i personally think he sang this song with all his passion and fire...close your eyes and listen to this song and man u cant help but rock!
He opened a concert at Delhi College in Upstate with this song. I searched for like two years or so for it and gave up. Then he put it on his 'Bat out of Hell 2' CD, and I played it non-stop... People wondered why I listened to this more than 'Anything for Love'...
Meatloaf was in a movie with Patrick Swayze called Black Dog...that Jim Steinman sure can write some good songs and no one can sing them like Meatloaf..
Awesome....Fat guys try harder...that's why i LOVE meatloaf....wonderful guy and jim steinman is a true genius!! I just found out Jimmy's a scorpio....no wonder most of his songs are about getting laid....ROCK ON!!!
and just for the record....meatloaf is sexy as hell!! I'd never eat the food, but the singer's delicous.
i love this leading guitar, fantastic! good song, nice lyrics " ...I'll be waiting here with something that you'll never forget... " - probably he sings about bouquets of roses, lol, fu***** good, ... hope to see his live show someday, please come to Europe (Prague ;)
This was the first meatloaf song I ever heard............ I have been hooked on meatloaf ever since..... rock songs to make you shake to the very bone! fantastic!
@desperadojukes Haha I remember the first Meat Loaf song I ever heard....I used to love country music and I never listened to anything else, but then my dad put "I'd do anything for love" on my iPod and I was in shock cuz it was so good lol, so I begged him for more Meat Loaf songs and I became obsessed with his music:P I hate country now and totally turned to rock, mostly metal/screamo/punk rock, but Meat's still my favorite singer of all time:D
@CountryFordGirl26 SAME!!!!! I'd do anything for love was my first Meatloaf song! Meatloaf Bat out of Hell 2 Back into Hell is my favourite album and I'm 16
If I was stranded on a desert island and only had 2 bring 1 CD, This would be it XD My step dad gave it 2 me for christmas! BEST PRESENT EVER!!!!! XD
*reads the comment on 0:36* WTF? I mean heck yeah he's awesome..but s-e-x-y? ...*said the girl who was in love with him at age of 7* ...^^ and cool vid^^
@Defonthana I'm 14 and obsessed with him:D But I was just kidding about the sexy thing haha.....but I'll have to admit, he definitly looks better now than he did in the 70's and 80's:P
@CountryFordGirl26 Haha, im 13, and i fell in love with Meat at 4-6 years old. Cant remember lol, my gramma played his music when i was younger. I agree, he sexier in that pic than in the 70s-80s.
Sorry I meant released in 1993, Jim Steinman (the best song writer in the world) wrote it long before then, but Meat Loaf didn't sing it until this album. Im sorry for the error.
I'm pretty sure Meat Loaf can take any proverb or amount of words and turn them into a 7 minute epic MASTERPIECE the same goes for Jim Steinman :D

This song was not written 1993. It was sung by Steinman on his own album Bad For Good, released in 1981.
