Strangely, the song sounds happy and sad at the same time. It's happy, because the Yoshis are singing the song, and it's sad, because the start of the story is gloomy and sort of depressing. The six Yoshi hatchlings wake up to find that their island is in trouble, and it's up to them to return the island back to normal.
