She visited that show back in 2008 and they said before the show... it took her 5 hours to make her hair and makeup and she told them she wanted only to be filmed from one specific angle.

Much as I admire her work, I think she is lying a bit here. I remember reading an article about her when she was about forty, divorced from Mick and getting into social causes. She mentioned how self-centered she was when she was young. She grew up rich and pampered in Nicaragua, and got into the 'caring about the little people' later on. Which is pretty obvious from the video footage of her younger days...
