  • Catholics FTW.

  • Likewise, if you don't like the comments, don't read them.. Good grief indeed!!

  • Why are there so many atheist trolls on these videos (or is it the same person(s) under one username)? If you don't want to see it, then don't watch it. Good grief!

  • @stephe1987 2 Peter 3:3 Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. We should expect these people to continue with their foolish comments. But remember they still need Jesus. Rather than questioning their motives, we should attempt to change them. We will not always succeed, but it will be worth it to see their smiling faces in Heaven :)

  • He's really good at telling scary fairy tales.

  • @TekLok The irony is, this story actually IS fictional. It is REPRESENTATIVE of the truth. In this, you are justified in calling this particular video a fairy tale.

  • if 1 truely is saved he cant be unsaved. And demons are not in hell they are here on Earth. But this is simly a creative writeing 2 show that demons r ruin ower ministry with lying ans cheating and physically killing us is not the piont.

  • Being a good father does not mean scaring your children into submission.

  • Wow! That's a great short story! Did a 15 year old you know come up with it?.... wait... what... this is what people actually believe.... errr .ooooookaaaaah..... *backs slowly away*

  • Do you have any other stories? Was this from a book you may have written? I am interested in hearing others.

  • Congratulations. You so eloquently (in deep & hushed tones) expose the fact that your belief system requires the use of fear to keep it's adherents in line.

How very sad and very contemptable.

Just as the nuns taught me in grammar school: That fear is at the heart of love.

And that's why as soon as I was free of the restrictions of youth I never went back.

  • @LetReasonPrevail1 Nah man, Christianity is all about love. God forces us to love him, and if we decide not to, we get thrown in a pit of fire for all of eternity. See, all you have to do is love.

  • @tighttritenight Yes, yes, compulsory love. What a grotesque concept. I must try it out some time on my kids.

"Hey, you little shits. You better love me, or you'll be REALLY sorry!!!"

    No....wait....that is actually quite hideous.

BTW, how much of annoying fucktard is this Matt Slick douchebag?

    Cheers,

And Let "Sound" Reason Prevail (hopefully)

  • @tighttritenight Eternal conscious torment is not Biblical. It's a church tradition that doesn't hold up to the weight of Scripture. The promise of God to those that trust in Him through his Son Jesus and the work of Jesus is immortality. We all will die. Those in Christ will be raised to live forever in a new heavens and new earth that will make this place look like a garbage dump. Those that die in their sins will be raised to judgment and die a second death.

  • "The death of the saved is most to be sought

but saved he be and here he is not"

The 1st demon sounds like Dr. Seuss! LOL!!!

  • This sort of stuff always reveals how inconsistently christians must think. In one breath you must defend the presence of evil in the world w/ "god's gift of free will to man", saying it was the drunkard's free will that killed a family of Christians. & in the next breath you espouse that there are packs of demons running around doing evil deeds.

Why would god be cool with little demon dogs going around murdering people and deconverting them? What are they, secret demon dogs? Too quick for god?

  • @AHughman08

    1:12 into the video:

"The death of the saved is most to be sought

but saved he be and here he is not"

The 1st demon sounds like Dr. Seuss! LOL!!!

  • @AHughman08 Dude, what I also found to be totally inconsistent within Christian belief is the idea that the following can somehow co-exist:

    1. Evil in the world due to free-will granted to us by god

    2. A personal god who intercedes in some people's lives & sometimes does so in order to halt or prevent said evil

So if god can SOMETIMES intercede to prevent evil from hurting us, why can't he intercede ALL THE TIME?

  • @AHughman08 @AHughman08 There is no logical necessity for god to only intercede sometimes vs all the time. For this to be a necessity, special pleading on the part of the theist is required (like they never asked for one of those before)

Or, if you're lucky, you'll instead be provided with the biggest cop-out of all time served up without a hint of embarrassment, namely, that "god's ways" are beyond our understanding (aka "I have no idea how to explain away this issue")

  • @AHughman08 It's called doublethink. Read 1984, George Orwell.

  • Did you come up with this while you were tripping?

  • watch my valentines video! ^_^

  • brilliant one, Matt.

You think demons actually try to kill Christians?

  • @Fil0girl Your an idiot. Satan's purpose for demons are to torture and exterminate Christians. It has been that way for centuries. You are sooooo clueless.

  • Like most things, the world has a backward way of thinking concerning how God thinks about death...

Psalms 116:15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

Ezekiel 33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked ...

  • That was good, similar to, "This Present Darkness" by Frank Peretti

  • finally when the time was right,1 demon that resembled a dog with wet leathery skin raised its carkus on clawed feet moved forward and in a gurgelling low voice asked harry potter to cast a spell and free the half rabbit half negro midget people of the planet flubbalubble, suddenly the easter bunny turned up wearing a sombrero and opened fire with a halo plasma cannon, father christman was furious but was too busy looking at the tooth fairys round ass in that little skirt

  • @ItsKnucklez You forgot oompa loompas

  • If this doesn't brainwash christians to still keep their faith, then I don't know what will.

  • You know, even as a Christian I don't have any animosity toward unbelievers, but when folks refer to Christians as being "brainwashed," "stupid," or as having "herd" mentality, I guess the stereotype bothers me. It's not the sort of language that builds up or even convinces anyone, it just tears them down. Just some food for thought.

  • If you don't know the difference between "theatrics" and "honesty", then continue in the same path. Matt Slick loves people like you.

  • You deduced that I cannot tell the difference between "theatrics" and "honesty" based on my comment below? That's pretty amazing even for the most ingenious of us. I mean, otherwise, I would have to deduce that you are a bigot who hates Christians.

  • " I would have to deduce that you are a bigot who hates Christians"

Nope, wrong again, you need to get your money back on those ESP lessons.

I don't hate. Hate is a virtue of Christianity. Invented by Constantine, and justified thru his religion and desire to conquor.

  • Ummmm.....right. Sorry that logic looks like ESP to you. (That Constantine thing's almost as funny too). Evidently, you have a very difficult time following the flow of conversations.

  • Reminds me of The screwtape letters by C. S. Lewis. Thankyou for the video, it has a great message!

  • I sent this video to someone I know who is the one the 3rd demon is boasting about.

  • Appeal to Fear much?

  • This isn't a formal debate, its an illustration.

  • Uh well you're almost there. What is the purpose of the illustration? I'll tell you. It's implicit conclusion is that the christian who does not give authentic witness is doomed for hell. Appeal to fear? I think so. Good job though.

  • Well I would disagree. Firstly, Christians are by definition not doomed for hell. Secondly, it illustrates that the Christian who fails to give authentic witness is a joy of demons... which I fully agree with. But nowhere does Matt say or imply that those Christians are going to burn. It's simply an encouragement to be bold, and a wake up call to people who may not realize that their lifestyles are pleasing to the enemy.

Also, the sarcasm isn't necessary. I'm just trying to talk to you.

  • "Christians are by definition not doomed for hell."

Depends on which Christian you ask. I've met plenty who are more than willing to throw out the hell card to other Christians who take a different viewpoint to Christianity. It happens. It's a means of control to try to force one to your viewpoint. That's all hell is and that's all it will ever be.

Secondly, I don't even know what authentic witness even means. I was just bored.

  • That's close but not quite accurate.

People in the last day will say that they are Christians, or cry Lord Lord, but God will say "depart from me for I never knew you". There is indeed a false masking of Christianity of secular humans. Ultimately however, it is not for us to divide the Sheep and the Goats, thats for the great Shepard to do. God can tell if the faith of said believer is true or not. He sees the heart.

It's too bad you toss away reality just because of the way its been abused.

  • Either you're a Christian or you're not. It's not up for opinion... that's what "judge not" means. Christians go to heaven by definition. This video is simply an encouragement to those who would call themselves Christians.

Keep in mind that just because someone calls themselves a Christian doesn't mean they are one. That's the real heart of his message.

Also, Jesus never used the reality of hell in that way. He simply spoke truth. So that's not all it is or will ever be.

  • Jesus maybe not, I agree with you. Everyone else, yes. I hope though you realize that the majority of non-Christians don't find the idea of hell to be that convincing. It's so obviously a means of control. You don't see it because you're a Christian. Put it this way: non-Christian's views toward hell is like your view toward Greek Hades ruled by well, Hades.

  • waste of time

  • I have a nice story for you to Matt, google "The Tale of the Twelve Officers."

  • Who wrote this story?

  • Amen.

  • Wow
