this is a hard one to get 'and i'd doubt you will find the full recording intact anywere else unfortunatly because i looked and had no luck finding it.
just to clarify my previous post...I have noticed that this particular cut-off problem just into the song appears on most other uploads on youtube from the bbc. maybe i'm pulling straws but someone here must have the video without the problem ? if so let me know if possibe thanks.
is there any chance you could upload this exact version without the cut-off at the start. it's a shame because this song and vid is good. obviously this is damaged. thanks if possible friend it would be much appreciated.
Such great talent almost always goes completely ignored by the polluted musical mainstream public. You can't force feed a musically handicapped public music of this quality...they prefer to eat the musical equivlent of unhealthy fast food!
nicetattoostupid: God that's funny! One of the funnier comments I've read in weeks. And perfectly describes it in one sentence. Well done. That being said -- I love Joe Henry. He's fantastic.
Thanks for the post! Joe has been one of my favorite musicians for a good part of ten years. Since the moment I heard his song "Trampoline" it has been my song. Thanks again -
sorry to have to post that way, but youtube could never allow enough characters in one post for me to cover the Artistry of Joe Henry....plus us disabled folk have lots of typing time. I pray he comes somewhere nearby so I can finally see him live.
4.) .2 performance videos from the album you can watch on your computer, and a hilarious "interview" except Billy Bob Thorton acts as Joe for the interview...it is priceless. Purchase Fuse....Try to stop listening to it, and please come back here and tell me it doesnt get into your soul in a very haunting way.
3.) ...after that praise, the next sad thing is, Ive only known one person who knew who Joe Henry was until I told someone about him. There are precious few videos available anywhere, he rarely tours, and he is the most brilliant musical artist since Tom Waits. I highly recommend that all of you purchase Fuse, it includes some multimedia..
2.) other great albums of his are "Murder of Crows", "Trampoline", then comes "Fuse" which even after hearing all these other great works, knocked me flat and haunts me still, since then...more greta albums "Scar, "Tiny Voices" and his most recent releases, including the Knocked up Soundtrack "Strange Weirdos"
1.) Theres a couple of really sad things about this. One is that they or Joe cut one whole line from the first verse of the song. I have loved Joe Henry's music since I was introduced to his stuff about 8 years ago. King's Highway, if I recall correctly comes from the Album "Short Man's Room" an astounding work,

Gov't Mule's cover on this from the Mo' Voodoo bonus disc of the album Deja Voodoo is simply amazing.
also this guys voice reminds me of dylan and this other guy, Luke Allen of Happy Talk Band

One other Joe fact I neglected...for as obscure as he is...he is actually married to Madonna's Sister. Yeah. That Madonna.
