It can get 120FPS in Half-life2 even if I turn the settings up to DX 9.0 lol but as was revealed in it's lifetime and on wiki, so long as I leave the shaders on low turn em up and it lags a little (down to 30FPS). lolz

Weird, HL2 says it requires a 1.7 GHz processor, but hey, they've gotten HL2 to run on Intel Extreme graphics!! Which couldn't start 3DMark05 and 3DMark06. Not surprised it could start but good FPS, interesting. 2D emulators like ZSNES? Don't they just require like 500 MHz or so? Still these days a decent dual core processor, 2 GHz or better is recommended for anything of course. My old P4 is still running after 6 years, good that they last, I have a new PC though.

Yeah;p I played on this card in Mass Effect on High stettings (extra high textures), Alone in the Dark 5 (medium) and last time in Dragon Age: Origins (medium graphic, high textures). It can slow down a bit from time to time but for me it's not a problem;p

I play CS:S with all settings on max and I get at least 50-60 FPS with this card. And I can play Crysis pretty good with it too. You will lag more often in any source game if you have low memory, so that could be why you lag.

depends on what you use to cool your system, overclocking makes a pc run a bit hotter. also takes up more juice (may notice a small difference in the power bill, not sure how much of a difference.) The best benefit is the computer WILL run MUCH faster, i haven't done it, but am considering. Though you should look it up first.
