  • Hey this is better than Martin Cillia

  • Take some lessons from MArtin Cilla's version.

  • It's not as simple as you think to nail Lennon's rythym on this. The Gretsch is out of tune badly but you just cant help that sometimes. Particularly with a Bigsby

  • you guys rock : )

  • se parece mucho a george

  • Great! I just hope that they didn't bring in two drummers; one to play Pete Best and another to play Ringo. LOL

  • Nice..enjoyed it

  • Perfect! Great sound, playing, and spirit!!

  • excelente panas... buena vibra beatle¡¡¡¡¡

  • layan lagu nie beb

  • sloooooooooooow

  • Wow, extremelly good! We're back to the early 60's here. I would go see this band play anytime! Jolly good show i must say!

  • They play very well, but it goes too slow in the beginning

  • great!!! and the shouts!!!!!!!!!!!

  • AWESOME ! These guys do a lot of songs that the other bands won't play.

  • that's nice!

  • They are excellent

  • that was pretty damn good!

  • WOW!! You never hear this tune.

  • Great cover of the "Harrison-Lennon" penned tribute to 'The Shadows' song! These guys are really good!

  • It was mocking the Shadows not a tribute. Lennon famously said he would not have them play in his back garden if they were the last band on earth.Later on George and Macca acknowledged The Shads as influential and Hank recorded with Macca on Back to the Egg album. Lennon always hated them. I wish the Shadows would have recorded it and show how it could and should sound.

  • I stand corrected. I've played a lot of The Shadows' and The Ventures' tracks on live gigs and though they were before my time, I've been a fan. I agree the Shadows could've come up with a great recording of this one. This is not a bad sounding parody at all to me, though.

    Cheers.

  • I agree with Lennon, the Shadows were wankers. And so are you. George and John play this with great swinging feel. The two "Stars on Guitars."
