@bigyihsuan2 It would save zero time. I can only control 1 captain at a time, so splitting them up would be pointless. If you meant that I should have had one captain go to the cave and enter it while the other captain had control of the non-blues, that wouldn't have worked. Whatever captain chooses to enter the cave is the only one who gets to take down pikmin, all other pikmin get put back in their onions.

yea... it will get rid of the colored pikmin you bring with you... save for blue. well you would land in water half the time anyways...

You'd think that Blue Pikmin would have more strength in battle and represent maybe 10 units when carrying an item since they can throw a purple pikmin when they're drowning really far and they can even pick it up. Blue Pikmin are awesome!

how do you beat the level then, it is filled with fire the first round

If you are smart, you would realize that you just have to deal with it. You don't need reds for the first sublevel. The only fire that is in the first sublevel are the flamethrowers that are on the ground, firey dweevils, and a firey bulblax, all of which can be killed with blues (there are water puddles you can use for the bulblax).

Also, in the later sublevels, you find some candypops to get other colors.
