Danity Kane is an example of how important it is to get around you a label, a management team and just people in general that really care about YOU and YOUR CAREER and making quality music. When your label is just "all about the money," they're not going to have that passion for wanting you to succeed, or for wanting you to release truly good material--it's always commercial. Even if the girls couldn't tell, it was always like that for the DK.

i think DWoods had something to do with the breakup of danity kane. I think she always wanted to do her solo thing, she was pretty much the only one that didnt said yes to the question if she would ever be apart of danity kane again in the reunion. She jus said that she has her own solo thing going on. And i think she jus tried to put aubrey against the other girls and making a separation among them.

I am probably one of the biggest danity kane fans ever. I ve been to 7 concerts, i bought multiple cds, posters, shirts, etc. It does suck that i invested so much time into something that failed the way it did, but i have to say it was all worth it. This group will go down in history. Think about it...spice girls broke up only after 4 years of major status. but yeah...RIP DK.

Danity Kane is an example of how important it is to get around you a label, a management team and just people in general that really care about YOU and YOUR CAREER and making quality music. When your label is just "all about the money," they're not going to have that passion for wanting you to succeed, or for wanting you to release truly good material--it's always commercial. Even if the girls couldn't tell, it was always like that for the DK.

Diddy never put any investment into this group. Ugh. It just makes me angry how these reality shows pretend to be the path onto becoming a superstar... when all that's really going to happen is that you are going to be used and discarded by a label that really won't give a damn about your longevity or artistic development. It's a way to make a quick buck for them. It's sad because along the way, the dreams of real girls can get shattered.

i think DWoods had something to do with the breakup of danity kane. I think she always wanted to do her solo thing, she was pretty much the only one that didnt said yes to the question if she would ever be apart of danity kane again in the reunion. She jus said that she has her own solo thing going on. And i think she jus tried to put aubrey against the other girls and making a separation among them.

I am probably one of the biggest danity kane fans ever. I ve been to 7 concerts, i bought multiple cds, posters, shirts, etc. It does suck that i invested so much time into something that failed the way it did, but i have to say it was all worth it. This group will go down in history. Think about it...spice girls broke up only after 4 years of major status. but yeah...RIP DK.
Dawn is a beast and will do well solo. i look forward to watch she has to offer.

U said it began around RUMORS and RUMORS are based on people's beliefs...that doesnt mean they're necesarily true...so dont blame dawn, if anything blame the ppl who created the rumor...better yet, dont blame anyone because u or none of us know the real story behind the DK breakup...PERIOD!

i think the problem was DIDDY not the girls..the girls had drama in between each other but they couldve went thru it without his help...i think he wanted a big dramatic season finale and he took that risk and let go of everyone and the problem got worster then what he expected and now he effed up the business effed up everything...he thought they would work it out and now...i think whats gonna happen is diddy apologizing to d and aubrey and shit gonna fall back into place for a new season of mtb

I agree with you, it makes perfect sense. Diddy really messed up this time folks because I won't be watching this season and I won't be supporting anything that has to deal with Diddy or Day26 or anything dealing with Bad Boy.

I love all of the girls and Danity Kane will not be Danity Kane without all five of the ladies. That being said, I don't think it would have been right for Aubrey and D. Woods to come back because after Diddy continuously humiliated them and disrespected them...he expects them to come back after he fired them?! So he realized that DK was a platinum selling group and breaking them up would only hurt his business. But after all he made and crushed their dreams, Aubrey and Dee would just come back?
