too good. love the delay/reverb guitar and how the vocals don't take away from the atmosphere, but sound wicked good! I dig most genres music, but this seems to blend the elements of what I like most.
I got to see Rosetta live in Albuquerque. I worked midnight shift the night before the show, drove 5 hours after work to see them and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Easily the best live show I have been to and to top it off I met most of the band. What an experience. I just wish they could get a show scheduled in El Paso.
Standing and actually watching them play shouldn't be confused with lethargy. Its the dickheads who jump around that ruin the atmosphere for those of us who want to soak it all in, get lost in the songs and marvel at their live talent. If you want to mosh and jump around like a your pissed off at the world acting hard go see some hardcore shit with the rest of the tweens.
@simssac you're a selfish idiots. Nobody prevents you from going deep into a song if they're movin, I personally like to do both... yesterday at rosetta I was one of the few that seemed motivated by the band...
Just think about it : what if the band would like to see people movin, so that they are sure everybody love their music ? I mean, have you ever given a concert ? It's a bit sad when you don't see anyone movin...
Just let everybody do what they want to, there is room for everyone :)
@anthonyslayer7 cuz all those pppl cant remember the old times. in my opinion, they are showin no respect at all. rosettas music is extraordinary and the crowd pay it with lethargy. its a shame
@n0bsch00lbus i didn't stand still when i've seen any band perform; i mean shit...why the fuck would you? if you're giong to pay money to see a band, might as well have fun and enjoy yourself. i would kill to see Rosetta live
I've had The Galilean Satellites for a while now and at first I couldn't get into it. Low and behold the other day I wanted something to keep me in a trance between destinations in my car and Rosetta took hold. They may be playing off what their predecessors built but I've got to say I'm not sure I've heard anyone do it quite like them. Just simply stellar stuff.
I own Galilean Satellites and Wake/Lift and this song doesn't sound familiar. And trust me, I memorized every second of those albums. They are that artistic, beautiful, moving and meaningful. Everyone, please support such an inspirational band!
@Fragile0Still hell yeah, the early 2 are like putting on some early verve stuff and having meshuggah or the entombed sing over it. no complaints from here on that front, but this sounds SSSSSSOOOOOOO much more intense!!!!
i can not wait till i have that new album in my greedy grasping little claws!!!!!!
