I think the main reason this guy didn't make it is because he was a country singer. Contestant shows seem to be against country singers.

He was one of two that really upset me that got cut at the judges houses, Melanie and Tim, and they brought back Melanie. I would buy this guys album the day it dropped. What a voice, someone pick this guy up and get him a record deal.

He is as good or better than professional country singers that I've experienced. He also seems to care about his performance and what he's conveying in his song. A voice like that isn't easy to come by, someone should help to develop him!
