well done... Make up doesnt make a person..It is the person who has great cofidence and feels beautiful Society esp mags example glamour says look great buy this makeup..She is sending a mess no one is perfect. there is no perfect.. but there is self worth and love, and to love what u are not be dominated to all the ads on what you should be
Wow. This held me spellbound. It was almost like a meditation on how the patriarchy has commanded women to think a certain way about their bodies and faces. The simplicity and starkness of it let me both take in every brush stroke and think about my own struggles with the beauty ideal. Thank you for posting this amazing piece of art.
im gonna be real critical now on what I saw... you did a good job however you missed alot of spots AND you can still see the outline on where you painted where the colour was going to be at, remember the next time you're doing the same thing.... cover the lines more carefully AND paint all spots on cause if you don't it just look undone and uneven.... so think about that the next time you're doing this!
for painting herself into conformity she sure did pick an outlandish way of doing it. and what the hell is an object of consumerism anyway? what exactly is the alternative of it?...i like the idea well enough but the reasoning behind it is overly pretentious and shallow in my opinion, if it was symbolic i would have liked to see more of that in the end product as opposed to the malange of flesh tones that we are given.
I wanted to reach out to anyone that loves Hair as much as me!

I really like it, and I like that there is no music. It lets you make your own interpetation out of it.

I really like this concept. Glad to see that someone is speaking up about society and the affects their views of beauty have on women.
