All people are flawed, saved or not. You can find fault anywhere in society if you're looking for it. I have no doubt God used LC to save my life. I did not complete the program and I regret that I didn't. The first time I went The LORD delivered me of addiction, the second time, psych meds (bipolar) and HE saved my marriage. KB was director and showed graceful leadership throughout my 10 total months in the program. Paul is definately NOT in it for the money, that is ignorant to say. God bless
Coming from someone who went through the program and worked for Teen Challenge as a Program Director for over 10 years, I can tell you first hand that Teen/Life Challenge is a Life Saver for those that want to be rescued. One must be willing to submit to God and apply whats being taught through the Word of God. If you do those things, your life will be changed forever more. Sorry guy, but you are wrong.. i wasnt a disgruntled person... As a man who represents God, you dont do what he did...plain and simple... I finished the program, went on to serve as ap program director and then executive director. This is the same man who one time said on a National TBN program that he was the director of TC for the state...That was a blatant un-truth... You cant have it both ways... The truth is the truth and Paul Ecker knows it
I will say this.. I have to agree with several comments about Paul Ecker. About 20 years ago, Paul Ecker ( wasnt so compassionate, wasnt so grace driven or understanding ) I was a young man, desperate for someone to help me, and Paul Ecker left me stranded at the Dallas Bus Station. It was a poor example of a so called man of God.. While that I have moved on, and I am now a Ordained Minister myself, very educated in dealing with people and social ills, I have never left someone stranded.
Thanks for this great video of a life changing ministry. It takes a lot of work to break addictions. Thanks to the wonderful team and the Eckers who put so much into changing lives. Of course, this program cannot meet everyone's needs, so some will not find their place in this route to freedom. But, thousands have found this the way to great opporunity for health and happiness--keep up the good work! God has chosen Dallas Teen Challenge to be His route to freedom for many!
some of these people run good places and help people. but the majority of these facilities are much like political work camps. kids ranging from 13 to 17 are put into to these torture camps by parents or other guardians, and are often taken out of their homes and transported there by force with escort services.these kids are in these horrible places usuauly for a year or two, and many, including those who have been there say it is worse than prison. the girl i love is incarcerated in one these.
@sangunarius yep you're right. I was at Teen challenge and it sucks. You could get a "right relationship with jesus" at a church. No need to go to a "Christian" work camp where they drum the bible into you.
Pual is a complete fake. When hes in church or the cameras are on hes an angle. But when your at the center he is a piece of crap and a liar who cant even keep staff. Hes in it for the $. The work you saw the people doin have no choice to do it or theyll get licked out, even if there sick they make you work. They hide behind CHRIST cause they think there safe, But as the bible says " your sin will find you out".
