Most of mine is self produced as well. In my sitting room, on my computer. It's possible to get very good results. I'm still learning on the production side of things, but by using recording tips from magazines and recommended equipment, the overall sound is improving all the time.

Learning about EQ'ing made a big difference. It's time consuming, but it's certainly worth it :)

I've written poetry since I was a child. In fact I had written enough to fill a book by the age of 10. I pay a lot of attention to life around me, and a lot of my songs are based on observation. I suppose I try to write about things that most people will understand :)

She had a good long life, and died at age 93. Ironically, she was very healthy, and was killed by a virus that was going around the hospitals.

What can I say? It's a great song, it has great lyrics and a fantastically in depth video that must have taken forever to make. Love the upside down snow and everything that has gone into making this video a very special treat to watch and listen to.

I enjoyed writing the song. I wanted to see how the classical piano and a grinding phasing guitar would hang together. I tried to make an effort with the video this time :)
