That said, this particular animal HATED that action. You could see that in its reaction and even more so in its face when they pulled it out of there. In this animal's case, yes it was cruel. However, there's another video of a dog in there that doesn't care. Even stays in for a blow-dry :)
Cats hate water and giving the a bath is something that needs to be done once in a while if this machine would keep me bite free and free of claws that tend to be sharp then I would so use one. If you think this is cruel for one animal why would be ok for another. I give my dog a bath regularly she does not mind the water but I would love to have this for her too.

@1verstreate1 not in my experience, I've bathed them every day for 4 years. there is nothing humane about what that cat went through in that machine. no cat I've ever bathed stressed out that much. It's called a caring groomer :)

I've also had cats that would turn your arm into ground round if you put them anywhere near water. For the latter, I see no issues with using something like this. Personally I take my cat to a professional groomer.

Cleaning them supports a healthy feline lifestyle. They may not like it but it's better for them. The main reason I see this as torture is when you are put in a room with no ventilation and the only air you have is hot STEAM it will damage your lungs after a long period. There are many reasons to bathe cats. My boy cat once got into something I didn't want him to lick off so I bathed him. Also not all cats are clean. My other cat, the slob, steps in her own business, tracks **** around, LAYS in the litter box, rarely cleans herself, and after a month starts to smell. She reacts horribly to water but still gets a regular bath. I wish I could find one of these machines to save myself a few scratches. It's not mean. The cat is not in any real danger.
Your not suppose to wash a cat! They know how to wash themselves and it does not require taking a shower in gallons on water. This is also considered animal abuse because it is inhumane to put an animal into so much stress in such a short period of time. For all I know, the cat could have had a heart attack and dropped dead. If I were the owner, I would pin the person against the machine and make them understand me. Have a jolly day!

Cleaning them supports a healthy feline lifestyle. They may not like it but it's better for them. Additionally, if an owner is allergic to cats (but loves them dearly) a cat cleaning itself only makes the owner's allergies worse because the saliva dries into crusty dander which breaks off into the air and then into the owners nose!! ACHOO!

@SgtThehunted I've owned cats my whole life and bathe them myself (when needed, which is rare) and they purr the whole time because I am gentle and give them rewards (treats) and attention in association with the bath. This is really a device for human laziness, carelessness, and entertainment.

This form of 'Spa' has been reported to the PETA before. But, ignorant people suck as Tarv, comments below say ' roflmao that was funny ' are why this is not banned. The main reason I see this as torture is when you are put in a room with no ventilation and the only air you have is hot STEAM it will damage your lungs after a long period. A cats lungs are smaller and cannot take this. So actually, this so called 'Spa' is actually a 'Lifetime reducer' for people who don't want they're animals.

There are many reasons to bathe cats. My boy cat once got into something I didn't want him to lick off so I bathed him. Also not all cats are clean. My other cat, the slob, steps in her own business, tracks **** around, LAYS in the litter box, rarely cleans herself, and after a month starts to smell. She reacts horribly to water but still gets a regular bath. I wish I could find one of these machines to save myself a few scratches. It's not mean. The cat is not in any real danger.

Your not suppose to wash a cat! They know how to wash themselves and it does not require taking a shower in gallons on water. This is also considered animal abuse because it is inhumane to put an animal into so much stress in such a short period of time. For all I know, the cat could have had a heart attack and dropped dead. If I were the owner, I would pin the person against the machine and make them understand me. Have a jolly day!
