@CABARMusic Thanks for your nice comments Clive. When I use the Vent I can't use the XE's internal speakers, instead it's fed into a mixer and out to powered speakers, however this video is recorded directly into my Cam from the mixer.
The Leslie sound is from the Vent (XE200) and the Vocal sounds are from the Roland.
The SK2 and BK7m would be brilliant together, what you have to remember is the XE uses VASE II and the new SK's use VASE III, although the Vent helps to minimise the difference.
Brilliant sound Keith. You're gathering quite a following I see. So much for taking up your other hobby after listening to HS. Stick with with these uploads, your other hobby can take a back seat. * * * * *
Glad to see you enjoying your BK. I bought my BK specifically for a potential gig that did not work out because I now have a shoulder injury. I therefore decided to sell the BK and use the money to buy another smaller instrument that is kinder to my shoulder. Besides, I have another arranger system at home that is not portable, but adequate for practice work. If I get another gig I'll buy another BK.
sounds nice your name is keith like keith emerson he didnt like it when they called an elp album love beach he thought it made them look like beach boys
Thanks. I did purchase one. Now to learn it. :-)

Please explain something. Is the backing module playing all the rhythm and the instrument sounds based on your chord changes?
rvenneman 3 months ago in playlist Roland BK7m
@rvenneman Hi, yes the Roland BK-7m is playing all the backing based on my chord changes plus the lead vocal sounds too.

Hi Keith
That is a fabulous sound and what a nice easy laid back style of playing you have.
Please answer a couple of questions for me when you have time .
1. Are you using only the internal organ amp.or something more powerful
2. Where is the leslie sound from--the organ, BK7m or a Ventilator
3. Are the vocal sounds from the organ or the the BK7m
Can't make up my mind whether to buy your setup or a Hammond SK2 with a
BK7M

Hello Keith!
You make so beautiful uploads, I hope YOU will not break away.
I also cannot sing like the Beach Boys, so I need a BK-7m too. Or I hear you singing, with your fingers and a little help of the BK-7m.
Many thanks, William.
