  • REALLY?!!! A LASER?

  • Wer'nt the rafales on the enemy's side???

  • @F22raptor46 Rafales are French built, so they will probably be fielded by both allies and enemies. Case and point: the Dassault Mirage (Dassault is also the maker of the Rafale) was fielded by both Iraq and Israel. Even some Flanker variants are fielded by America's allies.

  • @SorenityVids What means fielded??

  • @F22raptor46

    " to be deployed/used in battles "

  • @SorenityVids Right even Germany is using the fulcrum.

  • Imagine the F-22 or the F-35 equipped with Archer missiles, The best fighting machine.

  • damn, those Russian jets go down easy.

  • They forgot the PAK-FA and J-20, and the economy.

  • ...fly by wire was on the avro arrow... that's a bit before the f16

  • Comment removed

  • BUT!!!!!...Will It Blend?

  • Why does the Archer commit suicide?

  • Russian: IMA CHARGIN MA LASER!!!

    *gets shot down*

    American: IMA FIRIN MA LASER!!!!!!

  • mobile mini death star anyone? haha

  • E-767: So, you found a reason to fight yet, buddy?

    SU-30MKI: Dang-IT!

  • Try watching this video and saying " fuck yeah" in an american accent ( if youre not american that is :P) after every line the narrator says.

    I found it fun.

  • @Antifaith29 LOL

  • so the f22 20 yrs from now will kick the snot out of the one today? can you say "negative ghost rider the pattern is full"

  • laser!!!like pixy use on ace combat zero final battle!!!

  • Lol, laser can kill up to 90 miles, yet we can take out the 18 Su-30s (which outnumber 8 Rafales at a 5:1 ratio ??) at 150 miles... Wow, this IS the next level of air com.. propaganda

  • im still mad they didnt pick the YF23 because that f22 is kinda bad lol

  • "A flight of 18 SU-30s" in scene 3:49 changes to "The Americans are cleared to engage the Mig-35s" in scene 4:58. Wow! The Russian are not as behind in combat jet development as the U.S. thinks if they have jets that can change form during combat.

  • So do not deal with the French ever - they sell advanced weapons to terrorists.

  • 3:50 "...a flight of eighteen Su-30s"

4:15 "...The Su-30's fire on the Rafales"

4:56 "Just then, the Americans are cleared to engage the MiG 35s..."

7:47 "One of the lead Su-30s is vaporized"

  • the f-35 has double the amount of surface area than the f-16 it also has twice the range and fuel tank than the f16 so if you put the same amount of fuel in an f-35 it will have far greater thrust to weight than the f-16 also its abnormally large elevators will give it an amazing pitch authority also all models max out at 13g's however they are limited depending on the air force using it in the interest of the longevity of the f-35 and its pilot.

F-35 is going to be incredible.

  • @Wawaweewaj F-16 has half the weight of the F-35 and higher surface area. F-16 will EAT any fuckin F-35 in a dogfight any day ALL DAY.

  • @ANimouz once again the f-35 has a larger wingspan and surface area also better avionics and no the f-16 can beat the f-35 ann day much less all day because the range of it doesn't come close.

  • @Wawaweewaj But still, they removed Fire extinguishing equipment and ECM/Decoys to reduce weight.

  • The laser beam is science fiction.

  • The F-35 is definitely not extremely maneuverable. Fly by wire has nothing to do with maneuverability. This is cheap propaganda.

  • @bhigr Its average in maneuverability.

  • 0:45

F-16 did not invent FBW. The Avro Arrow did, but it was cancelled.

  • @RickDev15 AND NO CUP HOLDER!!!! Where do I put my mocha!!!

  • The F-22 & F-35 warns indian airforce.......

  • @suder19 F-35 is gonna be sold to the Indian air force.

  • @suder19 I mean Navy

  • It's pronounced sue-30 not S _ U-30! SUE! It's short for Sukhoi. The aircrafts manufacturer.

  • @bujoun76 S.U. Suk-hoi, Suk NOT SUE. The sue was a chopper back in the day. Duh

  • @Fighterfanboy Sorry but no! I heard it from a SU-25 pilots mouth. He referred to his plane as a "SUE"-25. Same for bombers. "Tu" pronounced Tooo..., is short for Tupolev.

  • LOL ! An F-35 that has about the same agility as an F-4 outmaneuvers a S-300 and an AA-11 at the same time. ROFLMAO. HAHAH

  • @ANimouz same agility as clean block 50 F16 with full weapons internal load. The specs set in the 90s. You must be one of those guys that think it will only go mach 1.6 because that's the min. spec for the three A,B and C. The specifacation not the tested top speed They have gone 1.53 mach intesting if it matters. They have yet to release the tested max specs. Turn rate, top speed, climb rate, ext.

  • @Fighterfanboy That's total bullshit son. F-35 weights a lot more than the F-16 , has much less wing area, is less aerodynamic and has a far worse thrust to weight ratio. Where the hell will it get it's maneuverability from? Pull your head out of your ass and stop believing the rediculous claims of Lockheed-Martin which is the biggest scammers of american taxpayers money for some time now.

  • @ANimouz the f-35 has double the amount of surface area than the f-16 it also has twice the range and fuel tank than the f16 so if you put the same amount of fuel in an f-35 it will have far greater thrust to weight than the f-16 also its abnormally large elevators will give it an amazing pitch authority also all models max out at 13g's however they are limited depending on the air force using it in the interest of the longevity of the f-35 and its pilot.

F-35 is going to be incredible.

  • Oh yeah, the raptor has been cancelled. Therefore, it will be nothing, nothing, nothing.

    This is really cheap propaganda.

  • India fly's the Su-30MKI, not the original Su-30 (the one in dogfights).

  • "Su-30s...a plane not flown by any allied nation."

Nice to hear where the U.S. stands on India.

  • @Girder3 apparently not 30 years into the future.

    meh

F22 Raptor Exposed - Why the F22 Was Cancelled

Watch all of these and you'll understand.

  • so when rockets hit American planes they barely do any damage? but when American rockets hit non-American planes, the planes explode?

  • the more I see these videos the more I think you yanks are damn stupid. 4+ generation fighters flying CLOSE formations to make it easy for u?????. No CHANCE. Just remember mig-31s operational rules. Fours flying 100km apart and with their radars interlocked / datalinked would cover a huge amount of terrain. And that was in the 80s,...they can also sport AESA radar now. GET REAL. yOU HAVE SPENT MEGABUCKS IN SOMETHING YOU CAN EXPORT AND SOMETHING THAT IS NOT THAT SUPERIOR. EAT IT.

  • @komepollass 100km apart. Have you heard of stealth? That meens by the time your aircraft car see them, thier dead. You think Mig-31's can beat a F-22 1 on 1? Maybe 10 on one. 8 missile kills and a gun kill from the Raptor later, that 1 Mig left has a chance. Chance, that is if it even knows the what killed all his buddies. Oh, and Raptors have wingmen if you haven't heard. So I guess the Mig could just run and pray.

  • History channel must save F-35!!!!! how to do that? yes got the idea. the SAM will save F-35!!!!!! LOL I started watching this documentary with serious mind then because of their biased presentation I got bored and now again I am enjoying this show, but not as a documentary but as a comedy show. It is not boring now rather hilarious.

  • i know the f-35 is good but evade a SAM and a AA-11 at the same time while guiding the AA-11 into the SAM that is just a bit dramatic, isn't it ?

  • Wait, how can surface to air missiles be fired, above the pacific? I mean sure ships have SAM's but the US wouldn't just forget those whould they.

  • Obama should of send Raptors to Libya for its 1st combat debut but it suck how the F-22 is too pricey to operate.

  • Alright! That's it, I draw the line for war at lasers. Stealth fighters/bombers was bad enough; what? Are we too chicken to see our enemys in dogfights. And now you want something made from highly concentrated light to do your bidding? NO, NO, NO, NO; just strap six fiftys on the F-22 and Go! I guess I'm just old school.

  • Hahaha! "By 2011, the US plans to" cancel the Raptor program... oops. Dogfights weren't made obsolete by jets or missiles. They were made obsolete by economics.

  • at 4; 58 mig 35 , other , great video .

  • I meant sukhoi pilot not mig pilot sorry

  • lol 8:20 mig pilot: wtf im not messing with that shit

  • lol @ the french planes retreating at 4:45 to 4:54

  • @KaremMusic4 no, Evas! lol!!!

  • give me a break lasers take an ENORMOUS amount of energy for a short burst, and what i was seeing from that 747 is it shot one burst, not a continuous beam. targeting would be near impossible. the power of the laser itself would degrade the farther the distance, this is just BS im no fricking scientist, but come on history, stick to the past where you know the FACTS.

anyways yeah the Chinese already have a stealth fighter to combat the new 5th gen fighters, if its not just propaganda.

  • @pmakfpt They're only in development status, the final version of the J-20/T-50 will come around sometime in 2020, but, if you care enough go do some research on the Airborne lazer, I know it can take out missiles, but I kinda doubt it has enough firepower to take out a plane.

  • @TEHGROUND

heard about that system looked at the "wiki" article (i realize that doesn't explain everything, just little tidbits) but looking at that, it uses chemicals, which would be more limited then say...a nuclear generator (subs could incorporate a laser weapon to knock out ballistic missiles) and just recently a laser was used to ignite a boat engine so yes they're in development and getting stronger, but a single burst ? no, it would have to be concentrated like a magnifying glass.

  • @pmakfpt Agreed.

  • Put the laser in a B-1R.

  • Comment removed

  • "covering 1 mile every two seconds"...... FFFFFUUUUU!!! this is complete and Utter BS for even 2027 AMRAM

  • yep the Archer missile just happened to detonate EXACTLY in the SAM's flight path. Shame Discovery left out the part where the F-35 grows an extra arm and pimpslaps enemy planes out of the sky

  • @ionbc haaaaaaa. couldn't agree more

  • F-22 will no longer dominate air for even next 5 years. Russia and India jointly developing Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft (FGFA), expected to be operational till 2015. China is developing it's own fifth generation Aircraft J-20, expected to be ready on 2017-2018. Already prototype of both jets flying. India separately developing it's own fifth generation jet called Medium Combat Aircraft. F-22 will have it's competitor by 2015-2016.

  • @linku82 Yes, the F-22 is a great plane, but of course there is going to be competition.

  • @linku82

Why do you post this On every Video?

  • @CRG2021, Just like that. Copy paste is easy.

  • @linku82 Yes, But Why?

  • @CRG2021, so if somebody is missing in one video and see my comment in other. :-) No offense it's a old video so, these poor guys had old data. Now most of things changed. F-22 is no more produced. Russia/India are almost ready with their 5th gen fighter and China is covertly flying 5th gen test flights.

  • 4:58 I'm confused, so the Su-30's morphed into MiG-35's?! ......okay

  • YOU ARE DECATES AWAY A OK SU 35 IS SHIT PAK FA IS SHIT ONLY F22 YEAH SURE

  • The F-35 is a more advanced version of the Eurofighter Typhoon. Both air and ground roles into a more advanced airframe.

  • Fly by wire does not make the plane more agile, just more stable, it's an aerodynamic limitation, not software.

  • 1 word Bullshit

  • Could you imagine the thoughts of the enemy fighter pilots when their wing men start to just blow up from nothing? With the missile lock they know what did it but with the laser the plane just goes poof. Talk about negative physcological effects on enemy pilots.

  • wow. it really is amazing how biased this show is. so convenient how the heat seaker exploded right in the path of the SAM, when the narrator clearly said the heat seaker was behind the plane and the sam was in front

  • At around 3:50 They say the planes are SU-30's, later on at 4:55 he says "The F-22's are cleared to engage the MiG 35s in a novel way". Small mistakes like that are fine, but when there are so many of them, it kind of takes away from the overall program.

  • HAHHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA: "To survive he will need the F-35s extreme maneuverability" XD

  • FAIL! Raptors can jam radar too now. xD

  • @RaptaryTRO the F-22s AESA can JAM as well, its old news.

  • is the f-35 still stealthy with missles under the wings????? I did not think so the previous episode mention f-22 not stealthy with under wing weapons.

  • @013456a No because the irregular shapes of the missiles and tanks will absorb radar signals rather then repel them. If the airframe is not sleek like the f-22 then you are praticly screwed.

  • the aa11 shoots down the sam? lolol history channel must think we're really stupid.

  • @vk45de Yea I def call bs on that and the missles on the wings would of compromised the stealth outline just as well.

  • @vk45de you don't know what your talking about

  • @vk45de no one said u were guys were stupid but your equipment is easy to acquire so that means its cheap and its gonna lack in tech so there very easy to shoot down the us navy's aegis defense system is the most accurate anti missile system in the world with 80 percent american missles are pretty accurate and thats proven since russia hasnt been in a major war at all so there tech is unproven and the tech that has fought has been completely out matched by american tech

  • As far as the ABL goes, check the Wikipedia page: "The Air Force has not requested any further funds for the Airborne Laser and Air Force Chief Schwartz has said that the system 'does not reflect something that is operationally viable.'" In other words, vaporware.

  • 7:39 IMMA CHARGING MAH LAZOR!

  • 2:16 A F-22 SHOT DOWN???? I wasn't expecting that from History Channel!

  • @bf2lover42 the history channel should just deal with history. they are already good at that, they do not need to put examples of what and how something should and can work, that should be the military channels job.

  • @bf2lover42 I don't think you realize how hard it is to shoot down an F-22. In all of the testing and war games the f-22 has yet to take a loss.

  • @DorkVader26 I am yet to know the conditions in which those wargames are made, so I can't take any conclusions.

  • i bet the russians have hundreds of movies in which they kick america's arse.. lmao

  • when was this video made

  • @MegaTitanicboy well they posted the video august 18 , 2008 :)

  • 4:00

    whose allied nations? Stupid propaganda.

  • C0mmanderEddington cool uve studied some stuff but what about the stuff our military hasnt released hmmmmm they could have a way more kick ass laser ya never know

  • @thunderbird810 actually YOU never know. I know well enough. You have no idea about how laser energy is dissipated in the atmosphere and over what sort of ranges this occurs. Dont believe every bit of crap you hear from these propaganda pieces. Missiles are better than current laser tech.

Our adversaries have high tech weapons to match us. Denying this only makes us weaker and unprepared. Respect the opponent know his strengths or be defeated...

  • wtf it was su 30 and now it is mig 35 ??????

  • yeah R 73 hits S300 what a american bullshit lol u will be fucked if u count on that

  • i like this show but these future dogfights episodes never takes into consideration the advances in Russian planes , lhe helmet mounted sight and thrust vectoring already existed on older planes like the Su-27 and the mig-29

  • Comment removed

  • @forrestc3 what no message? so you just click reply on my comment but type no message? damn that is annoying

  • Comment removed

  • @forrestc3 you bastard!

  • @forrestc3 lololololololol

  • Pure Bullshit 1!!!

  • 3:50 the flight is of SU30 and 5:00 the formation becomes of Mig-35!!! WTF!!!!!!

  • C0mmanderEddingt0n are u fucking serious why would the military release the actual range of a laser o yeah to make dumbfucks like u feel smart. It a fucking laser thats like infinetly upgraded range dipshit

  • @thunderbird810 actually "dumbfuck" I have worked in this field and already know ranges of current lasers. Missiles far out range current generation lasers kido

    silly tit

  • This programme is total crap. The Sukhois have missiles with several hundred miles range while the crappy star-wars-laz0r plane has a range of 90. bye bye crappy star-wars-laz0r plane!!!!!!

crappy documentary cant even predict next stealth adversary correctly. They say 2 decades away? how about 3 years away!!! Russian Pak FA. 400 will be built.

  • @C0mmanderEddingt0n man how old is this?

  • @Cipher210 not very old actually. I think this was made 3 or 4 years ago and it is still very far out!

Russia will have gen 5 fighters within a few years and so will india. America took advantage of the Russian chaos after fall of USSR but now Russia is back and the US doesnt like that.

  • Please, by 2027 we would have orcas! And terrorists would have plasma firing bombers...

  • IMMA FIRING MY LAZORRRRR

  • I agree that there is alot of American prejudice in this because not much bad happens to them, even though other nations will be making advanced fighters like the F-22 and F-35.

  • @rOHusted

They also did not realize the SU-47 was a test aircraft. The Pak Fa, which will be in some good number by 2020 will be a true test, Suhkoi after all is marketing it to anyone. Imagine nations like Ethiopia with 5th gen fighters.

  • BioWolve by the way. You forgot Superman and his Justice League and also you forgot War Machine lmao. Basically include everything from DC comics to Marvel comics lol

  • I'm American of course yes I like both American and Russian aircraft but I hate the F/A-18 and the MiG-29.

To be honest F-22 will dominate until we come up something new. My favorite is the F-14D Super Tomcat all the fucking way. But yeah 5th generation fighters will win over that plane. Can we both get along? Man this argument is stupid and pointless. One time in the world, we will have a damn good global alliance so we can "all" fight terrorism together. F-14D, F-22, SU-37 and SU-47 ftw

  • This is total bulshit! F35 does not posses extreme maneuverability. F22 is good really good but you all should be mad to say F35 is better than Su-30's. F35 is just a strike aircraft with stealth capabilities, F22 is a real fighter which we all agree.

  • darth star attacthed to a plane?

  • I like this eps. It show the truth about the battle field. It show the US technology and its weakness. unlike any other coutnry like Russia, even the F-22 can be shot down. So relax and watch the video russian fan boys.

  • 4:39 Is it just me or does that fireball look like a Firefly class transport?

  • Comment removed

  • Thumbs up if you think this documentary is stupid, unrealistic, biased and just a wast of time

  • IMA FIRIN MAH LAZER!!!! BLEEEEEEEEEEGH!!!!! xD

  • 1:31 Yahhh I'm 100% sure that this will happen in real combat xD

  • why do russian fighters never win in these simulations? i understand the ones that happens but even in the future? i mean lasers? you have go to be kidding me, that is bull muddashit!

  • With modern surface to air missiles F22 and B2 would be down in seconds. History channel forgot to mention that because they know what happens to stealth fighters with it get shot down easily with russian missiles no matter how good the aircraft is.

  • this is all reallly speculation I think that if American planes did go up against new fifth generation Russian planes it would probably be an equal fight, so it would rely on pilot skill really

  • in a straight dogfight any russian plane wins, against any other plane

  • The F-35 lures the Archer into the SA-23.This must be the stupidest and most impossible thing in air combat i´ve ever seen!

  • in next 10 years there will be at least 3 more 5th generation aircraft.

  • abl ftw

  • i dont think this show does any good job advertising the new American jets... he always implies stealth is compromised in any situation.

  • wow each one of these videos gets lower in views lol

  • Laser weapons, with them a government could just vaporize a target in the air or ground. Could you imagine one fitted to a satellite, god that would not only be a great strategic weapon, it would make an awesome assassination tool -- being able to vaporize anybody you don't like without a trace.

I could imagine that would be used for bad purposes as well as good. If I was head of state with ambitions of power, I'd aim that sucker at any political dissident I didn't like and flash them to gas

  • Yes, I believe that would be bad

  • I thought the electro-optic IR seekers are virtually impossible to decoy as they can take a picture of the enemy in both IR and visual light, even identify differences in the individual aircraft of the same type by noticing different markings on the aircraft...

  • The "Rambo 3" Movie is more realistic !!!!!!!

  • One plane:

    PAK-FA

Oh yes, be scared.. (3 built)

  • @Denmarkforever1 Scared of what, a 20 year technology gap, oh ok, I'm terrified! Jesus!

  • @sakoshooter48

In what ways are Russian planes inferior to american planes?

You might have your precious F-22 but what else u got?

Russia has 4-6 more planes that will knock the shit out of your F-15s and F-16s

PAK FA, Su-47, Su-37, Su-35, Su-30, MiG-35, MiG-1,44 and MiG-Skat are all just examples of Russia's technological capability, they have the tech for a superfighter just as much as USA ;)

  • @Denmarkforever1 I think you need to realize that Russia has a few handholds of these types of fighters. Secondly, and we just finished a survey, Russia has so many front line fighters which are unserviceable that their airforce is effectively combat ineffective. PAK-FA, SU-47, MiG-1.44, all of these aircraft designators are for flight test, prototype, or abandoned junk! An air war with Russia against the USA at this time would be suicide for Russia. War might last a week!!!!!

  • @sakoshooter48 Knock the shit out of our F-15's and F-16's, not even on a good day for the Russians. And the sad thing is, the F-15, F-16, and F/A-18 are all over 35 years old and they still have at least parody with anything front line the Russians have to offer. There is a big difference between video games that you children play and actual real world combat. It will be 20+ years before the Raptorski or the bent wing Berkut make it anywhere near being frontline aircraft.

  • @sakoshooter48 I am completely aware that russia has only a few of these..

But that is not the point, the point is they have the ability to build these (No-one else does other than USA)

Over 35 years old yet still the main fighters of the USAF.. Am i right?

MiG-1,44 isn't abandoned, Su-47 is not for production yet a formidable fighter, PAK-FA (in pre-production now) is probably just as advanced as the F-35.

    What video games? yo idiot

Nothing is abandoned, they gain knowledge by building these.

  • @Denmarkforever1 Denmark, the PAK-FA (Raptorski) is the first article. As with the first flying Raptor, they are YEARS away from getting near a producible aircraft, probably at least 12 to 15! They haven't even established the flight test criteria for the engines yet, the engines for PAK-FA are still on the drawing board! The Russians have NEVER lacked for technical capability, they lack foresight and execution. Personally I do not think the Russians have the depth to maintain them!

  • @sakoshooter48 Furthermore, Russia has had to export the design of the flight systems and other technologies to India to service their need for a fifth generation aircraft, read computing skills. And yes, 35 years old as they are still viable aircraft! Time and time again the United States has demonstrated the depth of their air superiority, that is an irrefutable fact! As we speak we are already changing how airwars will be fought in the next fifty years, no one has a chance!

  • @sakoshooter48 Instead of pontificating about the merits of Russian aircraft, look at their record over the last 25 years, it has been dismal. We had a terrible time in Vietnam as we thought we understood the threat, we did not as the game was changed on us, as we have now changed the game in our favor. I think it is safe to say that the Raptor will be the last manned tactical aircraft the United States fields.

  • @sakoshooter48 I think that the launch of the AIrforces' X-37 will usher in a new age of exoatmospheric aircraft. The threat will no longer come from a distant airfield or an aircraft carrier, but from outer space. I worked for Lockheed many years ago and I can tell you that if you think the SR-71 was an incredible piece of machinery, imagine what they MIGHT have lurking about some 47 years after the first flight of the A-11's, A-12's, and finally the SR's. Its worth a thought!

  • @sakoshooter48 The SR's were magnificent aircraft but they had their flaws too..

What happens mostly though, is that people will sit back and think "I'm doing pretty good" and call of some projects because of the excellence of their present thing..

F-35 is your upcoming fighter but i don't think it could beat the PAK-FA...

Russia btw is also one of a few countries with a successful bomber fleet along with powerful bombs and missiles..

  • @sakoshooter48 Your fielding the F-35 pretty soon, these guys are just bs'in...

I mean it looks as the Raptor's and Berkut's are the only aircraft that's manned and the rest is just flying straight without thinking..

You have to admit this is pretty propagandistic..

But the USAF is more or less the dominant sky power, but not unopposed..

On the ground you would have to deal with advanced T-90A's, BMP-3's and

    BTR-90's.. Not to mention Mi-35's, Ka-52's and Mi-28's

    Good luck to Russian enemies...

  • @Denmarkforever1 Sounds to mw as though you are a toy fan and not someone who realizes the fact of the situation. All the cool aircraft designations you throw out there are pointless. Russia has them, who cares, they don't have enugh of them, they have poor system integration, lack of pilot skills and training are killing more Russian flyers than combat. Russia would be hard pressed right now to fight its way out of a serious situation!

  • @sakoshooter48 What toy fan? I can't believe i hear the same bullshit every time i discuss non-american planes with americans...

It's not who is using them we are discussing no? I'm talking about the fact they can actually build these machines.. What if the F-22 was made in Mozambique? Their airforce is so shitty you won't believe it but it wouldn't change the fact that these planes are good right?

  • @sakoshooter48 That's the Russian air force 20 years ago for you dude, today they are getting better...

For christ sakes they're gonna build a stealth bomber! Still don't think they are a good air force? And that they can pull off such planes without the military spending of half the worlds, is just impressive..

The Russian air force believe me or not is pretty experienced actually... But you say more is lost in training than combat? Same in the USAF you dumbshit idiot..
