  • Nothing different from communists or nazis anthems.

  • This music inspire me to want to be a better person. Sensei, my shining eyes thanks to you!

  • i am a fortune baby and i love the sgi

  • SGI is not a cult, we only follow President Ikeda as our mentor in life.

  • coralzjing, don't be ridiculous. sgi has completely perverted the teachings of nichirens lotus sutra buddhism. more like ikedaism. they rob their own members of the possiblity of attaining buddhahood in this life. m/d,human rev, and interfaith are not the teachings of the l.s. or nichiren. if you are serious about nichirens buddhism and not just into cults seek elsewhere. i recommend the kempon hokke, but, any place is better than the sgi.

  • I am current and unhappy member of SGI because of the organization and it's cult like mentality. I am unhappy with SGI but happy with my own practice without the organization. Yes I considerate an organization that doesn't really care about it's members but rather than blind devotion to Ikeda Daisaku. I believe in Nichiren Buddhism and chanting to Gohonzon, but not to Ikeda Daisaku. People spend thousands of dollars on SGI. Very sad.

  • @rbsvy91368 really? why? U aren't obliged to share, jus hope you will become happy. :)

im from the SGI too. to me, every person is precious, whether you're a member, leader, Dr. Daisaku Ikeda or a new frend. To do that, always remb our practice to always be appreciative to everyone & find joy in everything we do.

Dr. Ikeda is a mentor who guides us in our faith. But remb, he's also human. No need to worship anyone. Just sincerely pray & take action for happiness for ourselves & others. :D

  • @rbsvy91368 SGI members do not have a blind devotion to Pres Ikeda, it's about uniting behind the leader(s) of our organization in order to carry out the major task of speading Nichiren's Buddhism through out the world. In order for any organization to be effective in its goals, the members must unite behind it's leader. Unity based on the teachings of Nichiren Diashonin is a must. Pres. Ikeda's gives his all with his guidance and encouragements to helps members apply NMRK to their lives .

  • @rbsvy91368

SGI members do care about the members. But you have to take action for your own faith as well. If you have questions or concerns, you should address them with the leaders in faith. If there are leaders that you are not comfortable with, then ask for another leader. Also remember that WE ARE ALL STRUGGLING WITH OUR OWN WEAK NATURE and you may have some over zealous members who believe that they are doing the best they can to help the members. HAVE SOME COMPASSION. ....;-)

  • UP ありがとう!!

  • Zelkon1120 you NEED to come to SGI Buddhist Center if you're not in it already.

Here's the address 2725 W. Charleston. Be there on Sunday March 27 at 10:00 A.M

  • siempre con seinsei la familia gatesco

  • たいへんに素晴らしい演奏です。説明とタグに日本語を入れた方が良いと思います。もっと大勢の人がアクセスすると思います。

  • I was never the religious type of person. But I decided to give chanting a try. My life has changed then. I dont really view SGI as a religious cult, but as a belief. I was taught that our lives is like the road. Boulders are obsticles that we will face. We are given tools, and we must work hard to break through those boulders. You cannot chant and just think everything will go away. But you must take action as well.

  • @Zelkon1120 YES. Chanting is only half the battle won towards overcoming life's obstacles. Through chanting, we strengthen our conviction that 'I MUST change my life now!' and also build up the wisdom and courage to take action. The other half....we must win through courageous and persistent action. Only by taking action and be responsible for our lives can we change our situation. :)

  • great cult song. if you are into cults.

whether christian, jewish, buddhist or whatever, all cults are the same.

  • @romysan1 Can't blame you for misunderstanding. I guess many people are fearful of religions, because there are some grps that misuse the practices & lead the followers to commit inhumane acts.

ultimately, faith in a religious teaching, a deity or material goals like status and money...it all leads to happiness. ppl have faith becos they believe thru that, they can be truly happy.

cults are groups that only focus on their belief & reject others. SGI embraces all ppl, regardless of religion.

  • Thank you Sensei for everything

  • I love this song Nam Nyo Ho Ren Gae Gyo!!

  • im in the YWD Sensai i love and thank you!

  • i just sang this song at my SGI new years eve meeting!

  • @leiddie03 My only advice is to look towards Jesus.

  • @MrImmekus Thanks for your advice but I will never leave Soka Gakkai Because that's the only organisation that really work hard for all human's happiness. Maybe there's a story between u and the organisation... No one's perfect. And everyone has their right to choose. Hope you chose the right thing for yourself.

  • @kyo1223 AGREEED TO THE MAX!!! i am a YMD :)

  • Amazing song!!!!! fills me up with courage!!! SOKA FTW

  • many years of chanting followed by realization that Jesus was and is exactly who he said he is. Sgi worships ikeda no matter what they say. I was blinded in that organization my entire life.

  • @MrImmekus hi, we SGI members don't worship Ikeda sensei. He is our mentor and as such, we honor, admire and respect him for his unyielding spirit to educate the world not only on Nichiren Buddhism, but also about world peace where people for different cultures, backgrounds, religions and races can live peacefully with one another.

  • @findkns I was born into that organization I know all about it. You may not pray to Ikeda but the entire focus of everything you do is for him more then it is about buddhism.

  • @MrImmekus If I was not a member of sgi for all those years I would not understand how people could not see that forever sensi is a worship song. The object of worship is Disaku Ikeda!!! listen to the words and try to see through the deception. I was deceived for many years. I'm only trying to open peoples eyes.

  • @MrImmekus: Which words do you find "worshipful?"

What are you trying to "open people's eyes to?" What has Mr. Ikeda done that you find evil or wrong? Nichiren Daishonin taught that in order to truly have faith in nam-myoho-renge-kyo, you must study. A true believer is one that believes because they have fully learned about this faith. I'm sorry you are so angry with SGI and Pres. Ikeda. I will chant for your happiness.

  • @kctiger18 As shinning eyes call to you Sensi Sensi. Its a worship song. Thank you for your prayers. I found my happiness when I left the sgi. My life is better now then it has ever been.

  • would you delete my comment if I was to tell you why I feel that the SGI is a dangerous organization.

  • @MrImmekus

what happen that you fell SGI is a dangerous organization?

  • @MrImmekus I just find it out that you would be on here making comments anyway. I don't follow NSA and I don't go on their website telling those members that their organization is incorrect. You must be seeking something. How the song is worshipful is beyond me. Sensei means teacher and can be applied to anyone you choose. How about applying it to Nicheren Daishonin? Or would that be worshipping Nicheren Daishonin? I truly do hope your life is better. Wish you the best! Thank you!

  • @MrImmekus

The SGI is an organization dedicated to World Peace.

  • teruko watanabe , do you have kyomo genkide in japanese....?

  • @VIRGO7828

    sorry, i don't have

  • This is awesome!!! I was an exchange student there in 2001. I actually arived there (in Tokyo) on 9/11.

  • Extraordinaria canción.

    Nam MioJo Rengue Kio

  • We are the Mystic and Invinslbe champs of life. Fight the fundamental darkness! Nam-Myho-Renge-Kyo!

  • I only became an SGI member just a week ago, and I I was largely inspired by hearing our region sing this song together at a meeting. It was incredibly inspiring and beautiful to watch, and even more so at our Rock the Era festival :)

  • @KazexNoxKatana I just came back from Rock The Era East Festival.

  • @BmoreBuddha Really? I might have seen you there. I was at the same festival. It was incredible

  • I love this song and this version. I have sung it MANY times at SGI meetings. Hearing it now made me sing aloud. I have always loved the slightly melancholy mood combined with the military marching sound. Okay, I probably sound crazy, but I LOVE THIS song, especially this version.
