@kobraf150 I disagree. I think the USC win was impressive specifically from a defensive standpoint. Tommy Rees' fumble inside the 20 was the only reason they scored a touchdown. ND had gone 14 quarters without allowing an offensive touchdown. In my opinion, if our defense had played that well starting off the year, we would have lost to Stanford and POSSIBLY Navy. Aside from the Stanford game, we scored enough points to win the game. That has been the story since 2005.

All this video does is pay tribute to Jimmy Clausen. Most of these are his O-Lines fault. Its not clausen's fault that they can't block or snap the ball. Mark my words Jimmy Clausen will win rookie of the year and will be the best QB taken this year by far. I'm a trojan fan and we gave JC his share of grief, but I gotta say, basing his Heisman qualifications on one game is a little shallow. And most of those plays fell apart largely because of the offensive line and the center, not anything he did or failed to do.
Clausen as an NFL QB will have much better sucess than Tebow. u cant even compare the two. clausen will have a great O-line and one of the best WR in Steve Smith to throw to. Tebow wont have any of that. clausen was a good QB in college as well his O-line and the ND defence was just horrible. Tebow had a great team in florida. So whoever posted it is an el primo asshole, and you can see he was having a hard time coming up with much. Clausen is one of the best QB prospects of the last decade and will go high in the draft. In that loss to UTEP, Keenum threw for 536 yards and 5 touchdowns. He did his job. ND plays USC, but besides them and Michigan, ND has a ridiculously flimsy schedule. Maybe Purdue's better than they first seemed, but still...Nevada? Washington? Navy? At least Houston played Oklahoma State, who was in the top ten when Houston dominated, and Texas Tech, who is still good despite losing Crabtree.

I'm not a big Notre Dame fan or anything, but I'm positive Brady Quinn was 2-2 against Michigan. Notre Dame won 2004 and 2005, I was at both games. I was also at the game in 2006 during his senior year, they lost that one though.
Brady Quinn was 2-2 against Michigan, but the 2003 game was a beatdown and the Yakety Sax game in 2006 should probably count as negative wins.

Ehh, it goes both ways really. The Notre Dame vs Michigan games are typically never close. It's usually a blowout that goes one way or the other. This year's game was the first game in a while that was even close. But in the end none of this really matters because Big Ten football and Notre Dame have been dead and meaningless for years now. They all get crushed whenever they play SEC, Big 12, or USC.
Michigan is now 2-0 against Florida, just so you know. Iowa destroyed South Carolina in their bowl last year. Just because Ohio State can't get it done doesn't mean the Big Ten is garbage...USC just has our number.

I was truly excited when we went to the Cap One bowl to face Florida, the defending champs...and yes, stomp them, though the score would have you believe it was close. Results matter, but they're not everything.

Clausen being #3 confuses me...he's a legit player, but Case Keenum, despite the UTEP loss, throws for WAAAAY more yards. Houston's defense cost them that game. We'll be seeing Clausen in New York later on, but I'm pulling for Colt McCoy here because I feel he makes the biggest impact on his offense (over 76% completion last year and he was leading rusher for most of the year) and he got robbed of the trophy last year.

Your a better TEAM than Michigan was this year but they have lots of firepower in their stars (particularly on offense) and they had just enough to beat you this year. @kobraf150 I disagree. I think the USC win was impressive specifically from a defensive standpoint. Tommy Rees' fumble inside the 20 was the only reason they scored a touchdown. ND had gone 14 quarters without allowing an offensive touchdown. In my opinion, if our defense had played that well starting off the year, we would have lost to Stanford and POSSIBLY Navy. Aside from the Stanford game, we scored enough points to win the game. That has been the story since 2005.

All this video does is pay tribute to Jimmy Clausen. Most of these are his O-Lines fault. Its not clausen's fault that they can't block or snap the ball. Mark my words Jimmy Clausen will win rookie of the year and will be the best QB taken this year by far. All the teams that passed on him will be kicking themselves, especially for taking scrubs like Tebow and Bradford ahead of him. Spread offense guys are never better than pro style ones, ex. Smith and Rogers in 05.

I'm a trojan fan and we gave JC his share of grief, but I gotta say, basing his Heisman qualifications on one game is a little shallow. And most of those plays fell apart largely because of the offensive line and the center, not anything he did or failed to do.

Clausen as an NFL QB will have much better sucess than Tebow. u cant even compare the two. clausen will have a great O-line and one of the best WR in Steve Smith to throw to. Tebow wont have any of that. clausen was a good QB in college as well his O-line and the ND defence was just horrible. Tebow had a great team in florida. A QB by himself cant win nation titles, it takes an entire team. Clausen never had that team

Career stats, Tebow: 985/661 for 9286 yds, 67.1%passing, 88 TDs' and 15 int's Clausen: 1110/695 for 8148 yds, 62.6% passing, 60 TD's and 27 int's, so yeah Tebow as fa as college is concerned was a better QB than Clausen. Add in the two national titles and a Heisman and it makes him that much better. Wow super better stats in 09', that's your argument? You can do better than that. Can't you?

This video comes up in google as a highlight film of Clausen TD passes and turns out to be a collection of his worst plays. So whoever posted it is an el primo asshole, and you can see he was having a hard time coming up with much. Clausen is one of the best QB prospects of the last decade and will go high in the draft. He has a strong and accurate arm, a quick release, quick feet, good size and athleticism. So eat it up, buddy.

He put up numbers against the best defenses in the best conference in the nation. Won two national titles and a Heisman. Clausen might very well be a better QB in the NFL. You don't know, I don't know. This post was about college, and in college, for all the hype he had surrounding him sucked. Who shows up to announce at the CHOF in a stretched limo with little state title rings, and a sonic the hedgehog haircut? He was a bust in college, not to mention he didn't exactly play against top notch talent week in and week out and he still had a losing record.

You think Bradford puts up those numbers if he's in the SEC? We all know how high octane Big-12 offenses do against the SEC. He's a good QB, but don't get carried away. Like I said before Tebow was a way better QB than both of those guys in COLLEGE. The NFL might be a completely different story. Tebow played in the toughest conference in the nation and still broke I don't know how many records. The comparison is not even close between Tebow, Clausen and Bradford.

Clausen should get the Heisman in my book. Look at the player, not the team. He consistantly completes 11 or 12 passes in a row and has incredible stats. His defense sucks and he has only thrown 1 or 2 real interceptions. Yes, we won last week, but I think it had to do more with terrible reffing than anything else!

Notre Dame is the epitome of mediocrity. Jimmy Clausen hasnt even beaten a team in the top 25 team in his entire career! The games that he has won have all been against sub-par opponents, most of which could have easily gone the other way. He is a failure when it comes to winning any game thats even remotely close to being a big game. I'd love to see him play a real defense for once. People would probably be a little bit more reluctant to suck that douchebags balls.

If by overrated, you mean Tebow won't be a QB in the NFL and he has a great supporting staff, then yes. He's a hell of a college QB, however, where QBs are far more than their passing stats. I personally think Colt McCoy will be the top QB pick this year, and next year I think Case Keenum will just barely edge out Clausen for the draft, but Ingram will take the trophy.

In that loss to UTEP, Keenum threw for 536 yards and 5 touchdowns. He did his job. ND plays USC, but besides them and Michigan, ND has a ridiculously flimsy schedule. Maybe Purdue's better than they first seemed, but still...Nevada? Washington? Navy? At least Houston played Oklahoma State, who was in the top ten when Houston dominated, and Texas Tech, who is still good despite losing Crabtree.

I would hardly call the Michigan game a marquis game for Notre Dame this year. Michigan is not that good, nor is the rest of the Big Ten. The best team in the conference is Iowa and they should have lost to Northern Iowa at home. Notre Dame AND the Big Ten are both pathetic. I'm not a big Notre Dame fan or anything, but I'm positive Brady Quinn was 2-2 against Michigan. Notre Dame won 2004 and 2005, I was at both games. I was also at the game in 2006 during his senior year, they lost that one though.

Brady Quinn was 2-2 against Michigan, but the 2003 game was a beatdown and the Yakety Sax game in 2006 should probably count as negative wins.
Either way, this video was made for two reasons: 1) This game was hilarious. I was there in the front row. 2) For a school with supposedly a top-10 recruiting class every year, they sure do suck something awful when it comes to big games.

Ehh, it goes both ways really. The Notre Dame vs Michigan games are typically never close. It's usually a blowout that goes one way or the other. This year's game was the first game in a while that was even close. But in the end none of this really matters because Big Ten football and Notre Dame have been dead and meaningless for years now. They all get crushed whenever they play SEC, Big 12, or USC.

Personally, as a student and an avid football fan, I care more about the game than anything else. Yes, I want the team to win and National titles would be nice, but that's impossible every year and I'd rather not just repeat the same thing over and over. I was truly excited when we went to the Cap One bowl to face Florida, the defending champs...and yes, stomp them, though the score would have you believe it was close. Results matter, but they're not everything.

yeah, that was probably the biggest win for the Big 10 since PSU won the Orange Bowl(which FSU, coming from the only major conference that's done worse as of recently than the Big Ten).That's pretty sad. Clausen being #3 confuses me...he's a legit player, but Case Keenum, despite the UTEP loss, throws for WAAAAY more yards. Houston's defense cost them that game. We'll be seeing Clausen in New York later on, but I'm pulling for Colt McCoy here because I feel he makes the biggest impact on his offense (over 76% completion last year and he was leading rusher for most of the year) and he got robbed of the trophy last year.

As much as I hate Jimmy Clausen and I mean HATE his ass he is a legit player right now. I feel that he should be considered even if his team struggles. Why does the winner need to be on a good team? It should be the best player not necessarily the best team. Don't get me wrong Jimmy is a complete shit head but I don't think that the heisman should be decided on ratings or team standings. How good was Florida when Tebow won it? 9-4? Not really sure but they got whooped by MICH in their bowl.

Did you notice that this vid was posted in 2007 about a week after the Michigan-ND game? It was pretty new then and is still hilarious, regardless of where Clausen ends up, which could very well be exactly where Brady Quinn is right now.

Dude this vid is WAAAY old i think he was a freshman he has thrown 1500 yards in 5 games and 12 tds with only 2 ints, the last one was because allen tipped it into the air and someone picked it off he threw for 73% and 422 yds vs UW. i think he has improved ALOT since this video

yeah i probably should because that would bring michigan state down even more first losing to central then losing to notre dame, and hopefully to wisconsin before coming to us. which would bring them down, while we should have a cakewalk against eastern as long as we dont pull a msu. and then indiana to warm us up for state. i dont want to be nervous like i was yesterday till we play penn state.

i wouldnt say that, michigan made some plays where you can say if they lost that they beat themselves. when forcier threw the interception the widereciever ran the wrong route allowing nd to intercept it and eventually score for a touchdown.

No, they did not beat themselves. Michigan just plain old won the game fair and square. Focier just ripped you guys apart on the ground and in the air. Michigan has a good football team this season. We will win 9 or 10 games and then be top contenders for the national championship next season seeing as we return pretty much everybody.

Michigan threw an interception with ten minutes left, Savoy dropped a pass in the end zone, Olesnavage ALSO missed a field goal (win by 4, so why does it matter?), and Michigan got some of the bad ref brunt as well, so shut the fuck up about who's the real joke here. Don't act like ND doesn't talk about National Championships every year; you're full of more shit than USC.
