@tokyomewmewroxable well you seem to be slightly uneducated. having played in many orchestras i guarantee you this is an orchestra, just because they play more modern rock style doesn't mean they aren't an orchestra, orchestra is not defined to a certain style, other then it is a string composition with classic string instruments. just because they have guitars thrown on top of it doesn't make them any less of an orchestra.

i suggest watching more of TSO and the many other orchestras out there

DeathScouter, the lighting designer is Bryan Hartley. He has designed for Kiss, Anthrax, Ozzy, Lenny, Motley Crue, Slayer, NiN, Alicia Keys, plus many more. One of the best in the business, I should know, I do the same thing on the same scale. This is the production the band wants. You design a lighting production to match the show that is being produced. You are right, sometimes less is more. In this situation, that isn't the case. Yes, the Syncrolites were made to look like bells.

I love love love these guys! so cool in person, but from more then one experience, I like sitting farther back so you can see the whole light show with the people, rather then just seeing flashing lights behind you and people up close. Better experience when your farther back i think :)

The video is good, the music better and live is awesome. However, when it come to the deliverance of The Christmas Cannon, they are frauds. They have not a child to sing that song instead they have two adult girls, that although pretty, they don't do that song any justice. Sad thing. I went to see them for that song and got nothing. I will never go to one of their concerts again, ever!

The light show is half of the show, the music is incredible but the lights complete it. The lights basically tell the story along with the music.
