If you watch this video real closely, at the 22 second mark, you will see the bar that the lead tractor is hitched to jump up off the ground . This shows that the chain to that tractor has tightened and that the lead engine is starting to pull its share. At that point the plowmen are still putting plows in the ground. At the 30 second mark the hitch jumps back up and stays up, indicating a solid pull by the lead tractor. It was a good 66 bottom pull ! We did it !!

What world record is this? Cause the Case STX still did more hectares in 24 hours, even though it only has a 20 furrow plough.
This world record is for using the most furrows or something? sorry if my english isn't correct, i'm from holland:P

The record set was for most plow bottoms pulled. And it was pulled with 5 tractors. Then, 65 bottoms were pulled with 1 tractor.

thats pretty wild . did they plow with plows that big and that many guys back in the day ????
if so they should start doing it again .
that would sure put a few guys back to work these days .
