  • thank you

  • but what about the jobs of the middle man?

  • The main problem I have with any and all these designs is that we're still using plastics in all phases of growth. This is not a good thing. I know it's very difficult to get away from plastics now a days.

In some countries Bamboo would be a good alternative .

  • @saeidmomtahan The we must use reciclated materials :D

  • hi this i great idea but what habbens if you can not buy the growing feed for the plants can you make your own some one was yousing fish in a tank to make the food would this work in small places.

  • @wilhat

It should work. I was working on the same setup, called Aquaponics, all day today. The air/water feeding system didn't work unfortunetly, so I stopped. But will go at it again tomorrow. It will work though, I'm sure.

  • this is not new, vertical grows have been used by pot-farmers for a while. they are just hipsters gathering in a room, drawing pictures, making crappy vertical grows and pretending like their forward thinkers... wth. this is not a viable idea really.

  • @TheBradanAnderson Why is it not viable? It is as viable as you can make it

  • why the photo of cows? You growing cows in a verticle hydroponic system to?

  • @basilbrushnz Cows have to eat something. A great % of crops are being used to create food for those cows.

  • I just discovered you yesterday...wow!!

  • this is so fantastic..any one do it on boats???

  • the plastic is really bad for you and the food

    use glass

  • Really great ideas.

  • Carbon Dioxide is NOT bad!

Mixing farms in the city, can't say nothing bad about that.

  • Brilliant!

So creative AND it gets people thinking organically and back in tune with our eco system etc.

    Well done guys!

  • very cool

  • AWESOME 8)

  • This is really cool. Keep up the good work guys. I'm going to explore more about making my own window farm

  • I think you're wrong a little and off-base a little. The large-scale stuff they show at the beginning of the video - who is going to be able to run such an operation but the massive corporations that run farming now? If anything, the farming industry might dig this idea - it gives them more area to work with.

The window gardens is a way to bring back the small farmer.
