  • Always had a youthfulness about him that made him seem like he could always be around.

  • @darchyIde612 Yes Mike was gorgeous wasn't he? Also a brilliant actor. I still love him this day always and forever <3 Miss you Mike

  • Dear Lord, both are gone. Peter Jennings and Michael Landon. Gone but not forgotten.

  • He died a month before I was born

  • it's hard to believe that it's been 20 years since michael landon passed away. i've had such a wicked crush on him from his "bonanza" days to "little house on the prairie". such a gorgeous hunk of man and a great actor and indeed was considered one of the nicest guys in la-la land.

  • 2 people have no respect for a great man after his death.

  • Langdon was a class act. Not to many of his type around..............

  • That sucks!!!!!

  • the good die young was considered the nicest guy on tv i certainly teared up when i saw this the best thing to do in this kind of situation is to accept whats coming and prepare as he did,,i,ll miss him

  • heartbreaking watched this man throughout my childhood with my dad. he seemed like a father to me

  • A great man, and a true inspiration.

  • i loved this show..... i mean life goes on

  • I loved Bonanza, but Michael's later shows got really sappy.

  • I couldn't believe it when Peter Jennings died,as well

  • @bealestbluesss And, Johnny Carson. So very sad.............

  • I uses to watch little house on a prairie as a kid. I think it was in early 80s here in Finland =)

  • When I heard him talking about his children , I thought : it's too much better not to believe in a God , because if I do , I'll have to consider him nothing less than a fucking bastard , who has pleasure in cutting our life off this earth and forbidding us to see our kids growing . If this disgusting being really does exist , this life is in fact a really bad joke from him .

  • little house on the prarie, i still watch it on tv...

  • @zinnoy I watch it here in Brazil too .

  • I just cried when Michael Landon talked about his children. Not only did he lead by example in the Bonanza series, he also lead by example with raising his children. He loved his fans and those he worked with. I am honored that I was able to see him in Bonanza as a child and from the DVD's I now have of that great show. Thank you and God Bless you Michael Landon, and thanks for bring joy to this young boy as I watched Bonanza. Greg

  • I can't believe that it's been 20 years since he passed. He would've been 84... Too much! R.I. P.!

  • @kevico2 74 not 84!

  • @tur74d56 Thank you. I had heard "He died at 64"!!

  • @kevico2 He would've been 74 kevico he was 54 when he died, sorry for correcting you.

  • @bladesmark1 You're not the first, and please don't apologize. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong! That's it... No worries... :)

  • we will never forget you Michael Landon you are my hero may you rests in peace

  • i was born the year after

  • @KodyBoy555 Oh yeah! I forgot about him. :) Thank you for reminding me. R.I. P. Peter Jennings.

  • Michael Landon remembered me in my childhood on my Uncle. The only one TV-Series i saw with Landon was Highway to Heaven. My Uncle has the almost same look like Landon. He was died with the age of 54, like Michael Landon.

  • R.I.P. Michael Landon, we will always remember you with smiles!!!

  • No Michael the World is a better place because of you....

  • The announcer Peter Jennings had a similar diagnosis april 2005 and died only four month after.

  • Wow... I can't believe that was 1991!!! This doesn't seem that long ago to me. RIP

  • @Baritoneirishman--thanks for that. It's been corrected.

  • Should be "Landon" with an "o."

  • What a wonderful human being!!

  • wasnt he in little house on the prarie plus when did he die what year

  • He says he has the greatest wife and the best kids and that the world will be a better place because of his children.

  • He would've been 63-years-old today.

  • @DimeraFan28 Hello DimeraFan. I do not speak English and I would like to ask if you, can tell me what it says Michael Landon, when he gets sad in 2:48 minutes. Thank you very much. Greetings from Chile

  • @DimeraFan28 he would have been 74 today, because he was born in 1936,and in about one month he would have turned 75,if he would still be alive.

  • i was in love with him when i was younger!!i will always love him!!he passed away so soon...

  • How can anyone not love lil joe?

  • An actor for the ages

  • One of the saddest days ever in Television History.

And Michael the world is a better place because of you and all you left behind for us. R.I.P YOU HAVE EARNED YOUR WINGS Long before you entered those pearly gates in the sky.

  • Another entertainer passed away the day after Michael Landon:actress Lee Remick. I think she was 56.

  • I can not believe that it has already been 20 years since he died!!!!! Where the hell does time go??

  • @lishsc3 Yeah. Interesting enough, I've asked the same question not too long ago. About all of it really.

  • @3:10 did they just say he had "nine children, from 3 marriages. his wife cindy, and INNUMERABLE FANS?!" LOL
