I'd recommend Bryce 5.5 instead of Terrain. Bryce 5.5 is Daz's latest freeware version of Bryce, makes 3d landscaping easy, makes animations simple, and projects can me made n a matter of seconds.

the free version doesn't have it natively, so i'd export one shot, move the camera, export another shot, etc. i did it frame by frame.

it has it's uses...i greate a virtual reality game using these landscapes as the animation. there are better tools though...but none that are free.

its only pointless to people that have no use for it, I use it for my 3D work, I export the terrain into 3ds max for my landscape. For people like you with no use for it, its pointless.
