I think it started at the end of season two, when she was getting creepy IMs from that 'watchmewatchyou' person. i always thought that was psycho-derek. i could be wrong though. i liked the peyton derek storyline, i think he was kinda there in season 3 - if he was the creepy IM dude. hope that kinda answers your question :s

yeah, dude, if you watch in the episode when he attacked her the massages on the computer were from watchmewatchyou, but also from lucas, but there were also ones from lucas... but maybe those were from derek too?
