@Mekiteshikuto I got there fairly early. If you don't, you end up in very long lines or, as you said, you cannot move to even dance!

I love the rave but it's a shame that drugs get into the Otaku rave. My friend is diabetic and she went to the bathroom b/c she wasn't feeling well at all and she was puking in a stall. I was holding her needle thing (I don't know anything about diabetes thingys, just the disease itself kind of) and her insulin and some girl came in drunk or on something and goes "WHAT'S THAT?!?!?!" "Uh...insulin?" "I used to work at a vet office and I stole horse tranquilizers" WTF?!?!?! 0.o But I <3 Otakurave!

@TehEmsy I agree with your feelings. Medical illnesses are a hard fact for many people. To have that illness compared to self-induced drug or drunken 'babblings' by a self-induced stumbling and self-absorbed idiot is beyond disgusting. I am sorry you and your friend faced such an event because neither of you deserved that experience. The cost of the Otakon Convention went up this year because of the actions of a few similar idiots last year who left their mark in the form of heavy graffiti

@rockyiii1 -- I started at about 9:30 or 10pm. The line to get in was starting to get VERY long. Once the rave rooms get really crowded it becomes almost impossible to take video particularly because I'm only 5 feet tall trying to push into the middle of an ever thickening mass of dancers far taller than I am!

I should have kept filming the line of ravers waiting to get in. I wondered if those at the middle and back ever did !

@hulitoons aw sweet, i wasnt in at that time haha i was in line. me and my group didnt get in till like 11:30 but we stayed in till it ended woo! haha. i cant wait for next year. luckily we were in the front of the line. the rave is my fav part hahaha. =) =) =) the bass was sooo loud, you could feel the floor moving under you. it was awesome.

Thanks for recording the Otakurave crowd on Saturday during my set. The floor kept filling to capacity and everyone was going bonkers. I had a blast spinning and this was one of my favorite performances..ever! =)

Lots of wannabe ravers there though. Seriously you go to a rave to dance, not show off in a circle that just takes space. D:<
