EoE is out of print. It's not like you're missing much, watching a fansub, unless you're a big videophile or have an attachment to the English dub (like me, and it still has a lot of TL errors).

As a matter of fact, I recently was in Japan and purchased their Death(true)^2/EoE DVD for the purposes of editing, and the quality is pretty much night and day compared to Manga's release. For one thing, Manga's is INTERLACED and LETTERBOX, whilst the R2 is PROGRESSIVE and ANAMORPHIC. Yeah.

Diebuster fails compared to Gunbuster. They took out all the realistic physics, put in some wacky stuff and -tried- to expand on the Gunbuster story but failed miserably. The fact that most of it is a rehash is worse.
