  • Merveilleuse Melody !!

  • Magnificent !!

  • Je l'adore..Bravo!!!

  • Pure soul

  • Wow, perfection.

  • YAY!! I love her music and her new CD is absolutely amazing! I wish i'd seen this on TV before...

Did Paul O'Grady interview her afterwards, because i'd really like to see that!

  • It is fantastic.

He did interview her afterwards but I don't have it, sorry!

  • Its an amazing record

  • How exactly did you gain access to youtube "Jenny"..........

  • Now, this is more like it. Exceptional! Keep it live and real with just a few instruments backing that fantastically expressive voice.

  • I agree with you again ;0)

  • I actually can hear myself clapping so loudly in the audience like a maniac. I was mouthing everyword everynote. i was so moved. And tv really does add a few pounds. I was watching her move and i was like she's just as delicate in real life as her music. she was so thin. and fragile. i was like wow. I wished i cld just speak to her for a second. I wld have fainted or something ridiculous like that.

    Thank you for posting this.

And I'm happy I pronouced "Gardot" the correct way before this.

  • I was lucky enough to be in the audience last Friday at LSO St. Lukes where Melody performed four songs. It was an absolutely stunning performance. Now the amazing bit-after the show I saw her standing alone and went up and had a chat with her, posed for a photo and got her autograph! She is a total sweetheart, and much smaller than she looks on screen. She was so easy to talk to and she was humbled when I said I only went there to see her perform. Believe the hype, she IS that good live!

  • was this in UK? Because when i went to this show (paul ogrady) they said they won't let anyone see her. She didnt even seem interested in waiting anyway. Plus the ppl in the audience werent like big fans anyway.

but yes she's very tiny. TV does add several pounds.

  • Hi there, yes this was in London - LSO St. Lukes is a tiny venue in Old Street - it was part of BBC Radio 2's "Friday Night Is Music Night" and went out live. You can still hear it on BBC's iPlayer this week. ITV are renouned for not letting anyone get access to their guests. It has happened to me before. Melody was very happy to chat. It was a night I'll cherish for ages! The new album is pure class - can't stop playing it.

  • I know. i don't do UK tv shows, so i was just well grateful i could see her perform for free i guess.

I didn't know she was coming back to UK. it'd be nice to have this kindda info.

i suppose i shld visit her channel or website more often.

I had downloaded her ep so i've been obsessing way before the full album came out. and i've been living the entire record until late. i discovered momma and down my avenue so i've been really into those of late. but yeh she's great.

  • Thanks for posting! Melody's great, and very kind too. She invited my husband and I backstage after her show in Montreal last summer, since she found we were waiting to ask her to sign her CD for us. :)

  • I was in the audience. She was amazing. She did no more than a minute or two warm up in the commercial break them gave a faultless performance. Quite apart from the performance - she looked stunning - even more so than comes across on the TV

  • Thanks! She was amazing

  • i love that you did this! thank you!!!1
