bush won despite the best efforts to get the vote out. the thing people miss is that conservatives turn out better than liberals. in 2000 only 51.3% of eligible voters turned out in 2004 only 55.3% turned out people need to get out and vote its only once every 4 years make the time it's important! if 100,000,000 people roughly = 55% then 90,000,000 people sat at home or forgot or for whatever reason didnt vote. I think if you dont vote you shouldnt get a taxe refund or somthing.

Not to mention the Secertaries of state(Job is to interpret and implement voting laws of that state) also being co-chairs on the Bush campaigns.
