  • @ThreeCatsScratching, You are actually wrong, there is a growing custom of taking a disc brake with one to cat cafes in japan as symbol of respect. This cafe clearly supports this practice. Oh, and you wrote "bit" not "but" in your own comment.

  • Oooch, its so cute and sweet! I wanna going to Japan, its so beautiful contury.

  • Nice video, bit in your description it is supposed to be 'break' not 'brake'

  • these are very cute cats!

  • awwww

  • Dead cat cafe?

  • 可愛いにゃ〜

  • Jalala is really cute, and the woman who gives you the drinks is so nice :)

  • ..In Japan you can play with the Cat in the Cat Cafe, In China they EAT the Cat at the Cat Cafe!!

  • LOL!

  • Can you adopt cats here or are they just on display?

  • I have been there before, to this cafe. The cats were so lovely, and my favorite was the American Curl. My husband loved the big silver Maine Coon shown in this video. I hope to visit there again someday.

  • "take a brake" indeed!

  • Thanks for posting this video. My friend and I were supposed to visit the cat cafe but when we went, it was really busy and it was a 25 min wait for a table :( Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to see it. Hopefully next time, I visit, I can see it!

  • There is a show on the Animal Planet channel (on cable) called Cats 101. They had a story about Japan's Cat Cafes. I'm in the US and hadn't heard of them before.

If I understood correctly, in Japan many people who live in apartments are not allowed to own cats. So to give those among them who like kitties a chance to spend some time with their favorite animal, they have these Cat Cafes.

It's what it sounds like - a Cafe with resident cats. There are many of them and they are quite successful.

  • @PhiloYT1 That is where I saw the story also. Cats 101 on Animal Planet.

I wish they would do this in the U.S. but, you know so many people would claim a cat scratched them, and sue the cafe owner. Or, with Feline HIV so prevalent here, someone would bring that to the cafe cats from their clothing or shoes. Such a pity.

  • The perfect place to chill.

  • This is a great place to go to find a wife.

  • Oh my goood... so cute ^^! Now I HAVE to go to Japan. 1:48 is creepy tho O.o. "I will eat your sooooul" cat lol.

At 0:42 is that a somali? Looks just like my bf's cat <3..she's so adorable :)

  • i went there today, and you cant tell from the video, but that cat at 0:56 is GIGANTIC.

  • @alphamone

My bf and I just got back from Japan - I know what you're talking about! He must weigh 35 lbs!

  • Awesome, I'm definitely going to check that out this summer.

  • oh god, I SOOOOOO have to go there when I visit japan. ; ;

  • That orange cat near the beginning was really sleepy there. Looks like they are very well cared for and well loved by the visitors and owners of the cafe.

  • These Japanese cat cafes are brilliant ideas. Why can't we have something like this in the US?

  • so can the visitors bring their cats to play with the house cats? seems like an interesting idea! ya i second the idea of bringing it here.. :D

  • All cats in this shop are ownd by the shop owner.

    We cannot bring our cats.

  • its truely neko paradise!! X3
