One major problem for me was the R rating. It should have been PG-13. If you want to deserve the R put in a little more language and violence, but the thing is that this movie didn't need it. The violence was perfect and more artful. There was like no blood at all, it was fine. But then they throw in a couple fucks and all of a sudden in needs to be R. It pissed me off. I understand there are other suggestive things in it, but if you take out the unnecessary language, it's totally PG-13.

Jamal never ever forgot about Latika (sweetheart) and after many years Jamal searched for Latika and found her. This time, a "gangster" separates them...but Jamal never gave up. He noticed that everybody including Latika watched Who wants To Be a Millionaire so he went on the show . For her. Each que. relates 2 his life.
I heard from many critics that this is a must see movies around Dec. but it wasn't shown in many screens.
Anyway, I just watched it and I must say Stuff like exploitation of children happens a lot in Mostly third world countries. I'm from China and I can still vividly remember those blind and cripple children begging for Money on the streets the same age as me. And no one cares, not even the police.
I think the truly sad part is that most people in the 25% genuinely don't think of them as people on some level. Confront them on an individual basis and they would deny it to the death.
I remember that stupid show "Moment of Truth" had an EMT 9/11 hero on it and one of his questions was "Do you really care about Darfur?" He answered no, and NOBODY made the slightest reaction. They didn't even linger on the question, and jumped straight to the next one.

Lots of cities have vagrancy laws that heard them to other places. Aspen is a great example, of one of those cities. They often move them, forcefully, to other cities. So places like Seattle and New Orleans, that don't treat the homeless like cattle, end up over run with them.
The irony is that most of my country pride ourselves as being the most free country in the world.
India comes about 55th in terms of density. So there are about 54 other countries that are more overpopulated/crowded than India
Also, from your video it seems that you think India is only all about slums. India is a country with its rich and its poor (alot of poor actually). Also its been clocking 9% GDP growth rate in the past couple of years, so its economy is booming at the moment.
