@daeamarth Part of the whole deal is that the entire universe is aging irreversibly. It's not a continual cycle. Eventually the galaxies will drift apart and no galaxy will be able to see any other galaxy. Stars will generally all become old and cold, with very few new stars born. You could say that even now we are at the stage of the universe where no new galaxies are formed, they only collide to form amalgamations, and one day even that will stop.
Yeah PBS doesn't care about their documentary quality and they constantly have to ask for money form their viewers because it is a low budget project.
@Graham6762 Or maybe its because the gov has screwed them over from prior administrations. PBS produces numerous decent programs. What I find entertaining is the fact that the likes of you need to condemn other educational programs not only because they dont live up to some "other standard" but more likely because they are likely from some other country. F'ing pathetic. PBS not only cares but produces some very high quality documentaries.
Maybe I would watch more TV if we had BBC in HD not just BBC America.... I know, it can take the place of the OWN network. At least they show some material on the Science channel and discovery channel!
When he says the universe ends in disorder I think he doesn't mention that another infinitesimal can open up and another cosmos can begin again. Maybe this has already happened before... What if there's no end?
Its the extremely simple and basic stuff that dumbfounds me, like how destruction of an object can be put into entropy and a mathematical equation. I just think of it like its just there or just happens. Never thought why. Its like asking what the definition of "the" or "is" is.
The universe does move from order to disorder. He talks of the "endless cycle of life" because the unimaginable scale of time makes it seem as if it is endless. The "heat death" of the Universe will theoretically happen in ten trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion years. Human beings can't really comprehend that amount of time.
in this episode he said order to disorder.... light to dark, the universe will burn out into stale dark... but in the next he marvels at the "endless cycle of life" you cant have it both ways pal.
& you have no valid argument for it as I said nothing about climate change not existing for it has always existed, even before people like you invented stupid terms like simplistic argumentation to try and make yourself look big and cleaver with your excuse that less than 1% of the 400 parts per million are the cause of any warming.
@stilettosandshades Well, advantages of a public non-commercial television paid by people. Or, as many of your countrymen would say, Demonic Communism!
Been going on for 10s of thousands of years has it? Still, you can still stand there with a camera and get video of that ice falling off and put it on the news and blame it all on carbon emissions over the last 100 years in order to increase taxes and pass tyrannical oppressive restrictions on out lives. How? Well that's because there are so many gullible people in the world. But.. that’s how the enviro-fascists roll these days isn’t it!
@stilettosandshades Oh yeah, I can distinguish a rational argument from an utterly outrageous statement aimed to wreak havoc to rationality. Hence, I find crutely2 stupidly hilarious.
@jegr38 i just meant that im sure you didn't come back and see the big huge argument that started between cruelty2 and the other person commenting after you left your comment.... But, good definition of trolling :)
@crutley2 Global warming is scientificly made probable.. Simplistic argumentation is'nt going to make it any less likely to occur. The debate is whether or not we are willing to "give" a little bit of our so called freedom away for the greater good of our civilization or if we want to keep our right to burn fossil fuels at a high rate. Which you still have in theory, now you just have to pay a little extra for your right to pollute the air that we all breathe. I don't see how that's gullible.
@MrIndustrialWater Simplistic Argumentation is exactly what your spouting there you idiot. There are only theories for any possible warming that there may be and nothing which it concrete - that's why it all depends on what scientist you choose to believe in from which political background. You seem to be subscribing to the same simple narrow minded view of the world as those who believed in the rubbish that Hitler's scientist spouted. Grow up!
@crutley2 could you keep a friendly tone? You hardly have the right to tell people to grow up, if that's the way you react when people disagree with you. The consensus among scientists is that the rising temperatures in the last 100 years has been enhanced by human behavior. When it comes to science, i am ignorant, so are you, therefore i am gonna go with the overall consensus. Besides there is no reason to pollute the air if we can avoid it or reduce it... Politics is irrelevant here.
@MrIndustrialWater Friendly tone? Right to tell people to grow up? You're yet another case of a pot calling a kettle black aren’t you! You nave no right to say I'm using Simplistic Argumentation either if that's the basis of your pathetic argument. I am not going to worry about the effects of 0.01% of total human produced CO2 in the atmosphere out of the less than of 400 parts PER MILLION of TOTAL CO2 from all sources - no matter how pathetic your argumentative tactics are!
@crutley2 Let's just stop polluting the air we're breathing, that's my major concern. Besides, the overall human contribution to the carbon circulation is'nt the problem anyway. Why is your standpoint less ignorant anyway? don't reply love
@MrIndustrialWater You'd better stop exhaling then because every time you do it you’re polluting the atmosphere with that so called 'deadly' CO2. Ignorant am I? There is nothing ignorant about being against excuses to deploy tyranny and I'm no love of yours but I will reply, especially when you ask me not to.
@crutley2 Goodbye angry man of insults who believe he has disprooven global warming by pointing out the overall human caused outlet and the fact that respiration gives CO2! (I guess i could use your little favorite metaphor right know)
P.S. I don't believe in luck, it's imaginary, unlike global warming and pollution.
@MrIndustrialWater Goodbye weak minded fool who calls anyone who gives them anything like a real argument an angry man and a denier. I’ve got some cotton wool fantasies and lots of dull sheeple for you to hang out with if you can only put up with those who agree with you all the time.
@crutley2 I call you angry because you're insultung, boneheaded and have an exessive use of exclamation marks.... and what were your arguments again? last time i checked you had none, NONE.
@MrIndustrialWater You started the insults with your Simplistic Argumentation statement. What the hell are you on you moron? Stop being a pot calling a kettle black before you go off claiming to be the one being insulted.
@crutley2 It IS simplistic argumentation to say that because an Ice block have been here for 10.000 years global warming does'nt exist. How is that an insult? And if you look back at the comments you have called me a fool, moron, claimed i have a weak brain to the point where i would buy nazism, and an enviro-nazi.. And you feel insulted? How's that logical? You have absolutely no valid arguments against global warming and before you have that stop trying to convince people. It's pointless
...this didn't really explain anything.

Neat vid!
I am an artist trying to promote my theory on the dynamics of light and time.
This theory is based on two postulates
1. Is that the quantum wave particle function Ψ represents the forward passage of time ∆E ∆t ≥ h/2π itself
2. Is that Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle ∆×∆p×≥h/4π that is formed by the w- function is the same uncertainty we have with any future event.
This process of continuous change we see and feel as the flow of time itself!
