I think the speed-up gives the song an edge more appropriate to the video. And it makes the drums kick. Like both versions very much.

funny to hear the song like this, but i do prefer the original. there are a lot of subtleties in their voices that are lost when it's sped up. just met them last week, they were incredibly nice and very fan friendly.

Hmm... the chorus sounds a bit rougher like this, but all in all it is a pretty awesome take on an already great song.

Well I said this before in a comment but all I did was edit it the video on iMovie HD to make it faster and then I edited the audio to make it lower so the vocals weren't so high-pitched. It was pretty simple with it.
